Canadian Rockies Chalets  

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for budget accommodation outside of Banff.

We had lots of room, people were friendly, we could walk everywhere form our location and it was comfortable.

Location, price, size of room.

Bed was covered in dog hair, no batteries in dvd remote, no remote for tv. Booked a Railroad Room and was down graded to a bear den. Very disappointing when I get a confirmation and then a call later to say it was taken. That really sucked!

The Chalets were quite good and very roomy even the smaller Bear's den that we were transferred to the second night, and staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The big problem is all the northern chalets were about 50ft from a very active railroad. Had trouble sleeping first night til they moved us to a chalet on ground floor on south side of Chalets. I still had to wear ear plugs. Nice facilities but bad location. Starting to show wear.

Spacious accommodation for a good price

The only issue is the trains being so close to the property. This was fully disclosed in their advertising, so it was not a surprise, but they are very close and do run at various times throughout the night.

The train going by every 15 minutes. Walls were really dirty and ledges

Spacious, fairly well equipped, good value for money, staff very friendly and helpful, nice view, good location.Comfy beds.Good shower. Availability of fresh supplies as needed (dishwasher powder, towels etc). Good information available in room and in foyer. Free access to e-mails was really handy, although pc very slow (could need de- fragmenting).Loved the bunnies!

Disappointed that hot tub was not working - really needed a warm soak after 3 hours horse riding in the rain. Futon a bit uncomfortable. Room wasn't ready - arrived at 2 pm and told it would be ready by 4 as advertised which is fair enough, but on return had to wait until 4.50 for access. Bit of a pain as we had been travelling for hours - some of our group had just flown in from England and really needed to rest.

Been before, therefore knew what to expect the hot tub was an unexpected bonus.

A bit noisy with guests smoking outside late at night talking (loudly through drink).

Great facilty and layout for family group. Good rate. Convenient location.

Proximity of train noise and noisy children running around early in the morning marred an otherwise very pleasant experience. Garbage under the fold out couch was another unpleasant discovery. Otherwise it was all good.

Budget priced, fair value

The view was great and staff was helpful.

The shower in our room had no hot water, there were cigarette burns in the spare blanket, and the futon was terribly uncomfortable.
