The great location and access to the main venues.

Felt the inclusive breakfast could have offered a better selection.

Excellent breakfast! Home baked goods were wonderful. Close proximity to the Jackson Triggs winery. Staff was friendly; room was very clean and comfortable.

Room next door had small dog. Occasionally could hear barking.

We had a great stay. It was an easy walk to the main street. Having breakfast in their beautiful garden was definitely a highlight for my family. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for?

The location was excellent, a short walk to downtown and easy to find by car. The garden is beautiful and very peacful. The room was very clean and the Inn is well kept.

There is no microwave to heat up a snack or coffee brought from town. I am gluten free and there were no options other than fruit for breakfast. (I did know this ahead of time, so I was prepared and it was not a problem for me.) The bed could use a foam topper on the mattress as it did feel quite springy.

The garden was an oasis of tranquility. Everything was clean, freshly painted or new like the carpeting. The sheets were professionally laundered and crisp. The owner had gluten free bread and a muffin on hand for me.

I would have preferred a hot breakfast.

Friendly staff, elegant but quaintly decorated room. Staff informative but gave us privacy to move about grounds alone. Garden was peaceful and accessible.

    Bar soap.

I visited Canterbury Inn with my elderly 97-year-old mother. We had a lovely queen suite on the main floor. Everything was excellent from the friendly staff to the attention to detail, not to mention the quiet and homey atmosphere. The inn is beautifully decorated and the garden at the back is simply exquisite. I would return for sure and will recommend it to my friends.

Canterbury Inn was a wonderful quiet place too stay. It has the feel of a Bed and Breakfast but also the feel of a Hotel. It's the best of both! Just a quick and pleasant 5 minute walk to the Main Street in Niagara on the Lake was very convenient. Has a beautiful garden to relax in and enjoy a nice breakfast in the morning. Would 100% recommend to stay here!

Good location. Quiet and close enough to the main street. Beautiful garden and very nice billiard room (neither of them we could really enjoy since we stayed only one night). Tastefully furnished.

This property has all the quaintness of a Bed & Breakfast with the privacy and security of well run hotel. It's just far enough from the main strip of notl to be very quiet at night, but still within walking distance.

The rooms were charming. The inn itself is set nicely back from the road and has a lovely garden, including beautiful window boxes. Nice location within a 15 minute walk from Queen St.

Sorry not to have had a full breakfast. What was offered was continental and we found the coffee weak. We have been to NOTL many times and have always stayed in B&Bs so have become accustom to full breakfasts. Instead, this was an inn and I guess one should not expect a full breakfast. However, there is a good breakfast spot within walking distance down the street called "The Red Rooster".

it has the spirit of an Inn and a B&B without all the rules & restrictions of a typical B&B in NOTL

The garden at the back was very nice, and the continental breakfast was tasty.

Room #4 was right beside the exit door at the back. One morning this became very noisy around 7: 00 am to early for niose during my sleep. Don't book room #4.

Lovely room. Lovely hostess and informative. Very quiet. Quaint town/area with a lot to do.

A bit of a walk from town. Thought breakfast would have been more than "continental". Niagara-on-the-lake is eye-wateringly expensive and the food served in restaurants very ordinary.
