Great hotel with modern furnishings. All amenities present with a very clean and comfortable atmosphere.
The front desk staff was very heavy handed on the rules. We understand given the hotel's location that some guests choose it as a place to party, but it's ridiculous to be told the rules in a condescending manner. Front desk staff needs to learn how to be friendlier.
Excellent staff and housekeeping: no-nonsense, everything perfectly taken care of. This is the perfect combination of (long-stay) suites with kitchen facilities and hotel services. HBO Canada is on the channel list! Very good grocery store just in front of the hotel, with both regular and local or organic products, and with hot meals. It served perfectly at every moment of the day. Spacious suite, very quiet sleeping room, even a storage room.
The cleanliness and spaciousness of the room.
Hotel located in the heart of Vanc downtown, everything is reachable within walking distance. Full equipped kitchen is excellent for family travellers. Coin operated washers and dryers are available, very convenience and budget controlled.
Fitness center is relatively small, with limited facilities, would be better if there are more fitness machines.
Easy walking distance to city, restaurants, public transport etc. Made it very easy to be an active tourist.
Good location, clean Room, Stuff ıs very friendly And helpful.
The executive 1 bedroom suite size, layout and facilities was amazing, especially for the price. Easily the best value for money hotel accommodation (amongst 5 others) on our 3 week Canadian holiday. The staff were excellent; very knowledgeable and friendly and only too willing to help.
You have to physically lock your room with your key when going out. (However, the staff left a letter after the first day advising me that the room was left unlocked, which was excellent). The WiFi connection did not work a lot of the time. My smartphone and laptop indicated that we were connected but trying to connect to the internet constantly timed out. (I am a very experienced self employed computer technician).
- Great Location. - Nice city view and balcony. - Great roomy suite, comfortable bed and clean washroom. - Kitchen fully equipped, has a dish washer. - Housekeeping prompt and efficient.
- Frequent wifi outages. - Slightly high priced for a Hotel that does not have a restaurant or room service.
Fantastic attentive staff. Interesting views of downtown. Amazing grocery market right across the street. Close to shopping.
Location is great, and having a kitchen is even better.
Beds were too small and super uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep at all. Thus, pillows were like a rock. You won't be able to sleep if you care about noise cause air conditioner sounds like a huge truck inside your room.
Super friendly staff. Lots of space for a hotel room, including a comfortable pullout couch (extra $20/night) for a friend who dropped by. Great location with a market across the street, liqour store on the corner and good restaurants within a block. Was easy walking distance to the convention center and only a few blocks to the Canada line, so good access to the airport. Highly reccomend it.
Kitchen was slightly dated, but very functional with everything you needed.
We spent three nights at Carmana Plazza, while in the city to attend the grey cup. My husband and I had a suite with a full kitchen on the 16th floor. The staff was beyond accommodating and very friendly, especially the door man. They went out of their way to help us with any requests we had. Across the street is a restaurant/market called urban fare where you can go and have a delicious well priced meal or grab one to go and enjoy in your room. So many things to enjoy while in walking distance. Location, location, location. Excellent shopping near by. We will be back!
I don't have any complaints other than the bed was a tad firm for my liking but my husband did not mind at all.
Liked location, size of units, bed, everything!
A steam room or sauna in rainy Vancouver would have come in handy.
I really liked the location. I was in town for the Rock n Roll Marathon so it was within walking distance for the Expo, the starting line and the finish line. Lots of restaurants in the area as well.
Location, value for money, great facility for longer stay
no breakfast facility
Lots of space; basicly a whole flat, furnished and equiped with everything for a compfortable longer stay. Located right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Very clean and well taken care of rooms. Friendly staff.
Bedroom equiped with two quite narrow beds rather than a queen size or bigger bed.
Everything was perfect.
Nice spacious suites . Comfortable located nex to Robson street . Very clean . Friendly staff .
It is in an excellent location to use as a base to explore Vancouver.
The staff would not accommodate and allow my guest who arrived in the city a few hours ahead of me to check in. They asked her to sit in the lobby until I was due to arrive 5 hours later. They would not accept my verbal authorization and also declined a third party authorization form that was sent to me by the first employee I spoke with there.
The location is great. A very short walk to Robson Street and the Pacific Centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are wonderful. We loved it so much we have re-booked to stay again.
The daily vacuuming and bed making good have been more thorough but it was certainly clean when we checked in, this is being overly picky though.
The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was specious, clean and modern. Location is the key; right in the heart of downtown surrounded by restaurants and shops. Across the road, you have a grocery store. For our last meal, we decided to buy ingredients from the grocery store and cook for ourselves which turned out to be cheaper and reminiscent of being at home. Also The staff were very friendly.
Although the staff were very friendly, what we discovered was that they were not that knowledgeable about the city. For instance, I read online that the ticket fare to North Vancouver which is in zone 2 was $4. But one of the staff kept trying to "correct" me saying that the fare was $3.50 and North Vancouver was in zone 1.
The suite was well-cared for. It had a very homey feeling and very spacious. A great location, with restaurants and a pleasant little upscale "market" across the street. Staff was pleasant, attentive and professional.
Not great views, but we weren't in our room much. Cost a bit more than what I usually pay for a hotel room, but it was worth it.
