Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was large with kitchen and bedroom
Location is south of centre city and a little run down. Room was rather plain and Spartan.
everything. Staff is great. location is excellent. comfortable, and they put up with me.
The location is good
At beginning, It looked like they could not find our resevation. Waited so long until another staff came and found it right away. Looks like they could have had better employee training.
The Cartier Place Suite got good location to the Parliament Hill and plenty of restaurants around. We booked a queen bed suite which could take 4 adults totally and very good price for family.
The wifi doesn't work very well sometime.
Very good location
The maintenance... such as The clothesline in the bathroom was not functioning.
Perfect location - you can easily walk to all the major attractions. It is close to a multitude of restaurants and pubs, yet the street it is located on is very quiet.
Their kitchen has everything so you can cook by yourself, and the room is quite and comfy. If you plan to stay for more than 1 day in Ottawa, it's gonna be the place you want to stay.
The parking in the garage is $24.00 a day, that's too expensive. I hope they'll give the tenants a discount next time.
Two tv's did not have to share with my kids Convenience location play area indoor/outdoor
Location and price were great
The place is a bit dated - rooms are getting old. But everything worked fine
Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to various restaurants, pubs. etc. Close to downtown core. Underground parking.
Location & price
I made a pot of tea and there was an old teabag in the pot from the previous visitors..
Our hotel bill was adjusted because the shower did not work. This was done without any hassle. Excellent customer service. Thank you.
The hotel was quiet. We all slept well at night. You can swim or bubble in the hot tub and then walk outside to be in the sun. Liked the glass balcony overlooking the courtyard, with a coffee in the morning...Staff was friendly with us, and patient with our 3 boys. Location was great to travel to and from. Enjoyed walking down Elgin Street. There was a lot of unique outdoor patio's, definitely a hotspot in Ottawa. My husband commended me for this hotel pick, and I wanted to share this with others that are making a decision based on reviews. (I read a lot on the Marriott, and the Les Suites too) Enjoy!
Would love a preferred discount on the parking ... would like a complimentary breakfast -a breakfast room- always very popular with guests :) (We all like to eat together with other travellers )
Lovely suite, that was well appointed. The location is great, and the bed comfortable. We were able to leave the car in the underground garage at $27/day. The service at the desk was prompt and helpful. We came for a square dancing convention and especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub during the supper break, as we could go back refreshed for an evening of dancing after having danced all day.
The dishwasher is to be started by the staff when fully loaded. We went through 2 days where the dishwasher was not turned on. On one of those days, the suite was not cleaned and the beds not made. We called down to the desk to request fresh towels and a staffer to turn on the dishwasher which was promptly done. This was a minor flaw to an otherwise perfect stay.
The location. Cleanliness
No restaurent High charges for car parking
clean, comfortable, nice bedroom and washroom, good kitchen, well-equipped, great staff! It was nice to be able to pay the extra, although $35 felt steep, to bring my cats. Thank you being able to bring them! My brother, his wife and I were all happy with the room and the hotel and we are happy to recommend the Cartier and would return given the opportunity. This is a nice place, thank you! - Kelley
the sofa bed could use a 'topper' of some sort, I'm over 50 and thought I had booked a suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed would've been for my niece who cancelled at the last minute, and I gave my brother and his wife the bedroom, so I was on the sofa bed. It was fine.
The location. And having a little balcony. And it was pretty affordable.
The rooms are pretty dated and need to change some of the furnishings, as they wearing.
Free parking. Dog Friendly. Clean and Spacious.
Paying extra for the dog.
great location, large room ,kids even had a room to themselves, laundry available
Good facilities-separate bedroom, kitchen, lounge and balcony. $24 for parking but well worth it. Great location for walking everywhere.
I've been to Cartier Place Suite Hotel on various occassions and it never disappoints. The location is excellent, the service is very friendly, it's clean and the ammenities such as the pool are welcome and well-maintained. I love it.
The on-site restaurant is stuffy and over-priced and could be replaced with something more down-to-earth. Including a breakfast as part of the package would make it more competetive with the Business Inn up the street.
Close to Parliament Hill, good restaurants, NAC.
Kitchen could be a little better equipped. No soap for the dishwasher. Coffee and sugar wasn't always replenished. The soap and shampoo in the automatic dispensers should be better quality.
We love the location for its accessibility to downtown. It feels like a neighbourhood where people live and there are always lots of walkers on the street. Great restaurants on Elgin.
Good sized Suites: bigger and nicer than Extended Stay Canada across the road. Helpful staff. Fairly quiet building. Good location. Comfortable bed. Lots of hot water.
Very loud a/c unit located in bedroom: had to switch it off to sleep. Add some larger spoons to the kitchens: only teaspoons available. Elevators seem to break down regularly.
The service from the staff was excellent and it was very clean. Also there was no noise in hallways
