It was within walking distance of event we attended.
I didn't realize how very small the room was when I booked it. The clock had no batteries in it and didn't like cheese strings as part of the breakfast. The breakfast was almost the same as the motel we stayed at the next day in Kelowna. Our room in Kelowna was 3 times the size and paid almost the same price for pretty well what we had at B & B.
breakfast all store bought, not fresh, VERY ordinary lighting in bedroom poor for reading, tired furnishings,
Great Atmoshpere Excellent Value Friendly Hostess
What's not to like.
A delightful hostess and wonderful B&B. Would definitely return.
Ease of access from home area at Local Ski Area
Room a bit small, Chesterfield/futon extra bed not really comfortable, a couple of Smaller Arm chairs would have been a better choice of furnishing. A better Brand of Coffee would be a nice addition at the Breakfast time
-The breakfast had a nice selection of items, many home made -Close to OK lake, beach and the Channel, for those who are visiting for that purpose
-The host was a little too chatty when I was coming and going and during breakfast -I was in the Mojito room and the entry door was glass with a huge gap at the bottom. Luckily everyone was quite but if there were late night comers and goers this would have been heard by me
The charm of the building and the room. We were given options for dinner and found the restaurant around the corner. Had a great meal. Everything was in walking distance. We would definitely stay again.
The staff, location, room, breakfast.
The Wi-Fi was hard to connect at first, but picked up later. Parking was a bit tight, but handy.
Cleanliness Size of room Bathroom Excellent breakfast Helpfulness of concierge
Could not make a drink in bedroom
The location is central to many wineries. From the outside the building looks great, very mediterranean. Some parking available adjacent to the building.
The rooms look tired. The mattress needed replacement as it sagged in the middle. The shower stall was tiny,2 ft. ×2 ft. The breakfast was a Continental breakfast such as served at all mid grade hotels. The ambiance felt like a rooming house not a bed and breakfast.
Best location in Penticton. Beautiful balconies, individual room decor, comfortable bed and very homey.
My biggest complaint is that the room my sister and I booked for ourselves was the smallest, with no view. The so called sofa bed was a single futon-like couch that if pulled out would leave no room for the two of us to put our suitcases, let alone move around. The one sleeping in the big bed would have to climb over the one on the futon. It was inadequate for two single women and since we were staying two nights, I decided to book another room for myself. The advertisement for the room states that it is a Queen room with a sofa bed. As you can imagine, I was picturing a room with a normal sofa bed. My other complaint would be that we had to eat at the kitchen counter with the manager. The kitchen was untidy and not particularly clean. The breakfast was OK, but not presented attractively. For the room price, I really can't complain too much, but would suggest that a good tidy-up of the kitchen would make the whole eating experience more enjoyable.
location was perfect.Room was nice. Great view from balcony. Breakfasts were very nice. Loved the dog.
The bed was not that comfortable. Could not get onto wifi.
Breakfast was very very good
On their website it states Casa Grande Inn, when you get there it states B & B, not sure why? Had to climb 16 steps to get to reception with suitcases. On checking in, we are told by the housekeeper "Oh you have the cheap room”, did not understand as another room was the same price? Asked three time "Cheap room" never got an explanation. Parking spaces was only for five out of the six rooms they had. We had to park on the road, which the housekeeper said they would pay the parking ticket if we got one. If we legally parked, it was 175 metres away down a side street! Website states air condition rooms, our room had a fan with the window open. Was too hot to sleep. In addition, websites states rooms have refrigerators; NO, you had to go outside into the reception/breakfast area to place food in fridge, which was open to all.
location was perfect - at the end of the town but very accessible. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. On site parking very useful. breakfast excellent.
Monitor Room is Small with small window. Last room available so we had to take it.
Excellent breakfast Helpful manager/hostess Comfortable room Enjoyed being so close to the lakefront and the new promenade
Liked it all!
The staff and owner were both helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast in in the morning was always fresh and well prepared I would recommend this establishment to any visitor visiting Penticton
Our Grande room was great, clean, spacious and opens to a great big patio that overlooked the mountains. The bathroom was a good size and stocked with all the necessities one would need. And we loved the location, situated right along the strip, across the beach, the fun park for kids, the paddle wheeler museum and walking distance to the restaurants in the area. And Elise, the house keeper was friendly and helpful. She prepared continental breakfast for all the guests each morning. We would make this our home away from home when we return to Penticton.
It would have been better if the bed was king size.
Clean accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast with a great variety of healthy choices. Great location. Good value.
the location, the breakfasts, the bed
the room was smaller than we expected based on the website photos
Nice clean place to stay, feels a bit like home. I would describe the breakfast as a deluxe continental. Decent quality food served buffet style at the breakfast bar and a nice view of the lake to enjoy while you eat. Great location in Pentiction as one can walk along the Okanagan beach which is right around the corner. It's a quick walk to restaurants, bars and even the casino. Would definitely go back!
Our host was great making sure we had coffee and breakfast the day of our Challenge Ironman distance race despite it meant getting up at 4:30am. Great visiting with her and the other guests who where also racing.
Our fridge to store our drinks was not in our room due to room size limitation. A minor inconvenience for what turned out to be an excellent stay.
The fresh fruit for breakfast was wonderful. The air conditioning a welcome relief from bright sun and beach ---- which is right across the street! We extended our stay!
Nothing ---- well ---- having to LEAVE!! LOL
Fantastic location! Beautiful little B&B. The only thing I didn't know was that it was a walk-up. Otherwise it was so beautiful!!!
The fact that it was a walk up.
