Customer service was outstanding, Staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Room was very clean and it was obvious that much thought was given to the design of the newly decorated rooms. Location of the facility is only minutes from main arteries for access and travel to any place in and around Calgary. Will definitely return.
Staff were friendly, accommodating, and kept a happy environment in the reception and breakfast areas. Late night reception was just as good. Room was very clean and comfortable. Linen and towels were clean, no stains or dust, or any kind of dirt.
The structure seemed run down (but can easilyou be overlooked because the l line ace was immaculately kept clean). The housekeeping person kept knocking at our door and rudely asked us several times what time were leaving even we had prearranged a late check out a (1130AM). I told her to stop knocking because my boyfriend is diagnosed with OCD and every time she interruputs, my boyfriend had to start checking every damn square inch over and over and over again! She was unleashing a monster by knocking so loudly. I would have yelled at her if it did not worsen the OCD symptoms. I took back her tip, she didn't deserve any.
Room was comfortable. We felt safe. Staff was great. Not far from the hospital.
Sketchy hotel across the stree.
A bit noisy from upstairs tenant
The rooms were very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I found the staff to be polite and helpful.
Although the shower was nice, big and modern, I was surprised and disappointed to see that there was no bathtub.
The price and cleanliness was great. Great location close to everything and friendly staff. Also plenty of parking.
Had to contact front desk to correct cable tv issue.
The room was updated and felt like a higher priced hotel room. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast options were varied, fresh, and well laid out. I would highly recommend Centro as a very good option for short stays in Calgary.
It would have been nice to have better TV channels. There was nothing on the basic channels worth watching.
Nice modern updates
Walls between rooms are not well insulated for noise. I could easily hear the conversation and tv from neighbouring room
Loved the location. I was traveling back and forth to Cochrane each day, and it was a quick trip. The hotel has been redone very nicely on the inside. Beds and bedding are lovely, the bathrooms are great. The temperature controls actually WORK.
There was a cleanliness issue. No mat by the door on lino floors means dirty floors quickly. There was also dirt in corners. Disappointing in a cute motel. Needs work outside.
The King bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent.
There was no easy chair.
Nice place and convenient to Banff / Kananaskis. Good value for the dollar.
Property starting to show some wear and tear.
Room was great, Free breakfast & phone calls a bonus.
The room we had was clean and had a nice interior. The shower was amazing, comparatively with other hotels or motels we had been staying in where the shower was little more than a drizzle in Centro it was great. The Keurig device for coffee, tea and hot chocolate was also great.
It's nitpicking, like other comments have said the walls are thin. We had a ground floor room and could hear every step of the people above us and when people passed our door we could hear their conversation. There was some minor maintenance that had to be done on the cable guards of the air conditioning unit and we felt the offered breakfast was a bit simple. One time we arrived really late and there was no room left on the lot for the car, but these were minor things for us and in no way got in the way of enjoying our stay at the motel.
The motel is on the Trans Canada Hwy and great for getting on the road to Banff etc.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean.
You hear the people in the next room and above you.No isolation between the rooms.
this was a basic place to stay, but it had nice upgrades like a well designed bathroom and nice toiletries.
the key stopped working twice. not fun when you are working off hours and need to crash.
Nice Clean rooms and Great staff. Have stayed here a couple of times as the location is very convinient
Good location , avarage breakfast, fair price
A little noisy at night because the parking was in front of the doors of the rooms.
The room was very up to date. It also included an iron and ironing board if needed. The continental breakfast was included.
Nice touches, fluffy robe, coffee maker etc.
Zero soundproofing. You heard EVERYTHING from all your neighbours. Didn't sleep at all, you could literally hear people texting on their phones in the next room. Couldn't believe it. Shame, rest of motel nice, but you may as well be in a room with 10 other people.
This little hotel was surprisingly boutiquey in an area of town where you might not expect it. The rooms were recently renoed in an updated and modern look. The bed was of high quality and we slept great!
The only negatives were the lack of a tub (shower only) a difficult check out process. I stood in the lobby ringing the bell for 10 mins and when the employee finally returned, she didn't even apologize for the wait :(
Paper thin walls, updating masked the poor quality of motel Toilet proximity to shower Toilet rocked, needed tightening to floor
