Huge rooms. Microwave, refrig, coffee maker, wi-fi. Location good. Market just a few steps away.

would have liked a stove and toaster and a bigger eating table. A/C leaked water on the dresser.

Reception desk staff, concierge staff, doormen, nice breezy room.

The person in charge of cleaning our room did not return soiled towels, did not vaccuum, did not tighten sheets when making bed, did not wipe counters, did not replace drinking glases, did not replace coffee. We had to call for everything we needed which was not hard, but annoying when paying so much per night. Construction projects downtown created lots of noise.

I was very happy with a service. Stuff very friendly, food excellent and room with a beautiful bay view.

Nothing really. Swimming pool was out of service.

The room had iron burn marks on carpet and very old furniture. There were loud drunks outside in the middle of the night (on burrard street) which made a rare night away from the kids even more exhausting.

The flat brown ugly, pillows in the living room area.I hid them from guests as they were so tacky. Need a blanket available to snuggle up in while watching tv or sipping wine on the balcony.

Huge studio room. Great value for money. Staff were excellent.

Furnishings very basic. The lobby (great) and rooms seemed to belong to different hotels.

A really great location with a great spa restaurant and coffee shop.

The rooms are getting really old and shabby and are in need of significant renovations.

Mattress old

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the front desk staff and doormen. We really enjoyed the layout of our suite.And the view was okay. We made use of the pool and steam room a couple of times and enjoyed them and all the little extras in the dressing rooms.

The cleanliness of some of the facilities were of concern. While a lot of scuff marks on walls in the hall ways and room might be acceptable. It wasn't what we expected to see in this quality hotel. Also of real concern was the pool scrum ring. It was REALLY bad! It appears to have been there for quite some time. The water temperature was very nice and the water itself was in balance. No itching or burning which will happen if the water chemistry is off. That's why it surprised us to see such a bad scrum ring. The last but biggest unpleasant surprise was when we checked our visa statement online after we checked out. There was an extra $300.00 charge!!! When we phoned the hotel they explained it was a pre-authorization fee put on our visa until our payment was processed. That had not been mentioned at check out and really doesn't make sense to do this at check out. This policy should be clearly stated to the customer. Especially if more companies have this policy. If one is on a long trip and uses a credit card for most payments, it would be quite easy to have the cards limit technically exceeded before the trip is over.

Room very nice but just a little run down.

I was surprised to get a suite this big in downtown Vancouver for such a low price. I was there for business so it was nice to have an office area separate from the bedroom. The staff was friendly and the on location restaurant had good quality food.

The hotel needs a decorative overhaul. The wallpapers, the paint, the drapes, everything looked old and not in a good way.

I will always stay here every time i come to vancouver. It has everything and there is no better place. Love the staff. Why go to a new place when you always know what you will get. Thanks for making that part of my travels easy

I like that it is close to Robson and that there is a great spa and bar in the hotel. The drinks are delicious at the bar.

It would be nice to have a jacuzzi or a hot tub next to the swimming pool.

The front desk staff are very friendly and the room although not up-to-date, was clean and very large. The bar tender in the lounge was an incredible mixologist when it came to cocktails. I didn't have any but the menu was very interesting. The food in the lounge was extremely good and absolutely top notch in regards to presentation. The wines were also excellent

The parking was not convenient, I had to park at the top of the parking lot, outside in the pouring rain. All the inside parking was taken by outsiders.

Very comfortable room with a nice kitchenette even though we did not use it. The staff were very nice.

The air conditioner took some time to get right. It was either too hot or too cold but we did get it right eventually.

We loved the service and the spa!and the views !

We thought the beds and bedding were incomfortable. We will stay again although it would be nice to have better beds and blankets.

All was good
