Extremely generous and friendly hosts - Randy and Anita show they really care about their guests. Very comfortable accommodation - highly recommended.
That we could not stay longer
We arrived just before midnight and there was a sticky on the entrance door with all the "instructions" waiting for us. Nothing welcoming, just an order to turn off that and that light, lock the main door, remove shoes etc - without any "welcome, please, thank you, etc". In the morning we were rudely asked to remove our shoes before entering the open space where the meal was served. I did not feel comfortable walking without my shoes on the floor there. The atmosphere was not pleasant and there were some other guests who were just rolling their eyes over her behavior. We decided not to finish the breakfast and grab something to eat on our way. When I asked if I can pay with a credit or debit, she said in an annoyed. standoffish tone in her voice, that she CLEARLY stated in her email that cash or cheque only... I could not believe it. She tried to make me feel guilty for not remembering the info in her email from long time ago. I am in business for 20+ years, I never ever treated my clients like this. She definitely needs to take some customer services/hospitality courses and she needs to learn her role - she is there to serve, make people feel welcomed and not to boss others around. Too bad!
Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and surprisingly unexpected. The owners made us feel as though we'd known them for years! They are a mature couple with years of life experience and so accommodating! You will be so glad you chose this place just as we were. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so perfect!
Very friendly and helpful couple.
I thought that it was expensive, but I thought that before I went, too.
The best hospitality ever! Would have liked to parcel up Anita & Randy & post them back to Western Australia so we could continue to enjoy their goor company! Excellent breakfast & good strong tea! So much chat & info it was hard to leave. Room was very comfortable.
Anita and Randy are very professional. This was my first experience with B&B. Working in the hotel restaurant business in my whole life and to have wide range of international experience in hospitality industry, their high quality of service was clearly noticeable at the very first moment for me. Thank you for both to keeping this profession on such a high standards.
The only negative thing I noticed not really their fault. One of their guests who stayed in their house at the same time like as had very strong voice, stayed up quite late and woke up early in the morning. Their conversation in the kitchen was a bit to loud.My wife works late nigths, I start my work early in the mornings. We wanted to sleep a little bit longer, but we couldn't.
Thanks to Anita and Randy for the hearty welcome. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in that nice place. Everything was excellent. Thank you for the great breakfast - the frittata and the home made jam - we would like to have more of it.
Our hosts, Randy and Anita were very accommodating and congenial. The bed, the bath, the setting, the house, the food, the conversation.
My wife and I cannot think of anything that could have been improved.
Location was great, facilities were great and the hosts were wonderful. We quite enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to get away.
Food was excellent
Decor could use some updates and is a bit cluttered, towels were clean but hard.
Great location, friendly and informative hosts of the area.
Randy and Anita make your stay so special. They take time to help you experience the area. This is a must visit place. So much to see and do in a beautiful part of British Columbia. Access to a barbeque and a cool shady deck is a bonus.
Anita and Randy are so personable, they made me feel like I knew them for years. They were very informative and great fun. And Randy makes the best breakfasts! I can't wait to take another relax weekend and join them again!
Really a great trip! Thanks Randy!

enjoyed the breakfast and short visit
Our stay at the B&B Chalet at Fairmont was exceptional...most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and the breakfast was fantastic. We absolutely loved it and it was a very short drive up to the hotsprings.
Not far from the hotsprings
The couple that hosted us were very friendly, they made a great breakfast! I will definatley be staying here again!
Randy and Anita where excellent. Really enjoyed my stay with them. There local knowledge was very helpful!! Especially Randy's ski advice. If you are planning to ski and don't know the area well he will tell you everything you need to know plus a few good stories. Thanks so much and see you next time Kayden and Owen
We really enjoyed ourselves. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. Beautiful part of the country.
There was not one thing that we did not like about the place. Very well maintained and comfortable.
Lovely place with lovely owners. We'd never stayed at a B&B before, as I'd always been nervous about having to make small talk with total strangers. However, imagine staying over at a friend's house in the mountains -- a friend's place that just happens to have an amazing guest bedroom, with a ginormous beautiful bed, high ceilings, a private wrap-around balcony with mountain view, and a huge walk-in shower (which easily accommodates two people). Anita and Randy were easy to talk to, welcoming, and ready to give us plenty of space. When we wanted to chat, they were ready to regale us with stories of grizzly bears and traveling East Asia. Highly recommended. We'll be going back if we're ever in the area! (We also ate at the Black Forest just up the road -- great German food and a very cute, romantic setting!)
I would have loved a bathtub, but the shower is luxurious in itself with a heating lamp, jets, etc.
I loved the architecture, the staff, the room setup... everything!
The hosts, Anita and Randy, we're wonderful, and really added to our weekend away.
