The hotel was in an excellent position and accessable to all attractions without too much walking. Loved the coffee bar downstairs and the breakfasts which were also good, different food on days but all good. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, in all a most comfortable enjoyable stay in a lovely city.

The hotel's location is fantastic, close to everything. The continental breakfast that was included with our booking was wonderful, so much variety! The scrambled eggs were devine! A brilliant experience all around.

It is a small comfortable hotel; nice staff, good location and well appointed room. It has wonderful free coffee and tea in the small lobby area which is well decorated. We had the breakfast included in the price of the room. Breakfast is buffet style: omlette, baked beans, jams, cereals, toast, bagel, orange juice etc. Very clean breakfast area, the staff checks to make sure everything is well placed and containers are not missing anything. I recommend this hotel for a short stay, 2 or 3 nights. There is nothing negative to say.

Hotel Champlain had an excellent location in Vieux Quebec. Within walking distance from shopping, restaurants and sights. Service was excellent, breakfast was good and room was clean. As for price, we booked the room as part of Booking.com's "Deal of the Day" so we got a good price. I'm not sure I would pay full price for this room. There are rooms with more comfortable rooms for the regular price of this room. That being said, I would like to reinerate that the service at this hotel was excellent.

The staff was really nice. We reserved a standard room, but they gave us a superior room for the same price simply because it was available. I was also suprised how good was the breakfast. I thought it would be the usual continental breakfast with a muffin that doesn't taste anything, but It was actually really good! The price is competitive if you compare to other luxury hotels in Old Quebec.

I always go there because it is nice, excellent relation quality-price, good parking and not too expensive. One thing, the breakfest is poor now, and it was cold, before it was not like that... :-( no muffin, no croissant, no good and original bread... That was décevant... Location - price - nice rooms - close to everythnig in Old quebec... Not ''prétentieux"...

Location Breakfast---extreme minimum! I wouldn't even qualify it as a continental breakfast. I've stayed in other similar hotels in old quebec and have had better breakfasts packed in a picnic basket..... Should add minimally : mini croissants and/or pasteries, a bowl of fruit other than the fruit salad that seemed to have be made a long time in advance, + waffeles / or crepes. Maple syrup was available for no reason---there was nothing to put it on... Alot of attention made to their coffee machine- nice but it doesn't make up for the lack of atleast a mini breakfast (offered: toast, plain bagel, a bowl of plain yogurt, bowl of raisin bran cereal, scambled eggs and recooked leftover scrambled eggs (the day before there were beans), bowl of fruit salad that had melon that had gotten squisshy, orange juice. Good location. Staff indifferent, neither good nor bad

The modern design of the rooms, the 24 hour reception and coffee/tea service, the breakfast room, the wi-fi, the refrigerator and access to a microwave. A pleasant environment, and a very good location, at a very reasonable price. Everything was fine.

The staff members were very friendly and accomodating. The location of the hotel is great! It`s right at the heart of Vieux Québec. I truly enjoyed my experience at the hotel. The selection of movies for rent can be made better. You can have newer, up to date movies.

The furnishing and style. Staff pleasent and helpful The windows of the adjacent building were only about 10 feet away and we could easily see into the rooms and vis versa. Consequently, we had to keep our blinds closed at all times.

It was in the center of Old Town Quebec. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was helpful. Breadfast was quite adequate. I had asked for a room with two beds. This room had a king sized bed. My friend and I made due and had plenty of room to sleep without getting into each others way.

“We enjoyed staying at Hotel Sainte-Anne very much. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. They had excellent breakfast. You can choose one of "traditional", "continental" and "fresh fruit". We tried all three of them and all of them were delicious. Location was great, close to all the beautiful sights in the old Quebec City. Many of the good restaurants and shops are near the hotel. If we have a chance to visit Quebec again, we would definitely stay at Hotel Sainte-Anne again! ” Kyoko, Fayetteville, Nc |

“Pleasantly surprised. A one hundred + yr. old hotel refurbished very tastefully into the 21 st century.Rooms were not spacious but had a very relaxing, comfortable, cozy feeling. View of park and river very nice.Maximum 4 block walk to very good dining at market prices. Staff most pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good w/ many choices. A good value. When we return to Quebec City, Chateau Bellevue will be our first choice.” John, Ocala Fl |

“This was our first stay at the Port Royal. Definitely not the last. This hotel is absolutely 1st class all the way. Check-in was very friendly and professional. Check-out was equally friendly and efficient. This is the only place to stay in Quebec City. Decor, comfort and staff made this an enjoyable stay. The bar area has to be one of the most beautiful and comfortable bars that I have seen in a long time. Great job Port Royal. Keep doing what has kept you on top of the competition. Thank you for a great stay. We will absolutely be back.” Fred, Hemmingford |
