Hotel Champlain  

The hotel was in an excellent position and accessable to all attractions without too much walking. Loved the coffee bar downstairs and the breakfasts which were also good, different food on days but all good. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, in all a most comfortable enjoyable stay in a lovely city.

Outstanding location in the Old Town"of Quebec City. Staff are well informed and are very willing to help visitors to the city. This is one of the highlights of our visit to Quebec!

Location was perfect and the always available tea or coffee very nice after a cold day outside. Nice down comforters on the bed.

Breakfast was okay but rather dull.

Slowness of Elevators

Tha staff were friendly and helpful. We were travelling with friends and stayed in juniour suites; our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice, except that our friends cannot eat pork products and both the baked beans and the egg dish contained pork. However, the real maple syrup, fresh fruit salad and juice, and the good raisin bread were nice touches. The decor in the breakfast room, and the availability of great espresso, lattes and cappucinos anytime, all contributed to our enjoyment. The location of the hotel was ideal for good restaurants and visiting old Quebec. All in all, a good value, especially since we were able to take advantage of a special rate on the room. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again. Thank you.

The location was excellent for the old city - buffet breakfast also excellent and very useful to be able to get hot drinks whenever we wanted. The special offer we had was very good value!

It was a great, quiet hotel very well situated in Old Quebec. Walking distance to a lot of attractions with great restaurants/shopping nearby. Very friendly staff that could answer any questions - both in English and French. A little kitchenette in the room was a pleasant surprise which was quite handy! Next time I'm in Quebec City I'll be staying there!

It would have been nice if there was a restaurant or something that you could get food/drinks outside of the continental breakfast.

We loved the location, right in the center of Quebec city! Near the city wall.staff was extremely friendly and helpful,room was very nice and large with renovated bathrooms and modern faucets. Hot breakfast was simple and tasty, with scrambled eggs, fruit salad and other goodies. Book your parking space in advance, we were extremely lucky to get the last spot. Highly recommended!!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful from the front desk to the manager. Gave us excellent on whgat to do and where to eat. Great location in the heart of Old Quebec, walking distance to many things. Great breakfast including at least one hot item. Room was clean and had a great view. We will definitely go back there again!!

No shuttle service to and from the airport, although I hear that none of the hotels provide that. We were told there was one by Booking.com.
