we loved the location. we also used and liked the lobby sitting area with hot drinks available all day. we liked that we were able to park our car at the hotel.
our room was small but we used the lobby sitting area to visit, play games and have a drink.
The location is good, it is easy to go everywhere. I would like to go there again next time. Go anywhere just minutes.
Tiny room but clean.
The Bellevue is located in easy walking distance of most attractions in the city of Old Quebec, this hotel's most valuable feature.
Variety of breakfast foods and presentation needs improvement. Staff are cordial and responsive to requests. However, they need to smile and interact more with customers.
Close to most attractions and info centre which was most helpful
No coffee in room
Walking distance to tourist sites and restaurants. Pleasant staff. View of park.
The staff were very cordial and helpful. Cleanliness maintained throughout stay in room and facilities. Most the major attractions were within short walking distances. The bed was most comfortable.
Room and facilities were on the small side. In house breakfast area also quite compact, with no variation in daily choices.
The breakfast was not included even though it was just pastries!
Friendly staff Quiet hotel
Location is perfect, quiet but very close to tourist centre. Staff we're very helpful and we were able to use our roo early. Breakfast was good value.
Very nice boutique hotel in a great old town location. Very accommodating staff.
The friendliness of the staff. The comfort and cleanliness of the room. The location.
The breakfast buffet could have one or two warm items. The crepes were not the best.
lovely boutique hotel, with comfy beds, nicely redone bathrooms. The location is fabulous, right behind the Chateau Frontenac. There is a really cool wine bar machine in the lounge where for $6 you can get a glass of wine of your choice!
the fitness area was very small and in a spooky part of the basement!!
Location, location, location... right next to the Chateau Frontenac, restaurants, and in the heart of old Quebec...!!!!
Understandably the room was a bit small, the double bed was a bit tight.
Expensive for a small room, with a view over a car park.
Bedding was too heavy and slid off the bed easily during the night
Fees and taxes are a deterrent
Location - Inside the City Walls, walking to shopping, Citadelle, Fairmont, and Archaeological dig site. Clean bathrooms, clean room and clean sheets.
Rooms were small, the deluxe room I got didn't feel so deluxe and the TV was very small. Can hear people talking in the next room. Breakfast not worth paying for.
Right in the heart of the city with wonderful outlook (at front). Some rooms far better than others but that is not reflected in price paid.
Staff variable. Small, cramped rooms were expensive. No breakfast in price and that offered as extra, was disproportionately expensive.
Nothing....i was very sorry I chose this hotel..i was sorry that I relied on the pictures..this place was a rip off! Stay away from this hotel, or find out for yourself! Again, there are several hotels in this area, right nxt to each other- better, cleaner, professional friendlier staff..location is good, but then again, they're not the only hotel in the area..SO I rate this place 0!!!
The picture was deceiving! The rate astronomical for this tiny room! We chose this hotel, because pictures looked nice/ rooms decent size..DON'T Be deceived! We never got a wifi- info misleading..it shld have said- in some areas, maybe there's wifi..front desk not even helpful at all..ohh, the pillowcases were not changed!! It had lipstick/ make up!!..did they change the sheets? Maybe not? I called front desk, asked for new sheets, he said he doubts that they didn't change pillowcase..i told him I would have brought pillow down to show him, the attitude- why do they hire front desk people like these? I complained about wifi, he kept insisting there was wifi..told front desk the nxt day, he shrugged his shoulder..I Had been using Booking.com for 4 yrs at least, I had been travelling for 25 yrs, I travel for a living, and I vacation 5mos/yr..this was the worst sorry hotel I have ever stayed at..there are many other hotels next door..MUCH Better and less pricey! I have never been so upset in my life about a hotel..Riku htl in Ulm, Germany- I had a huge insect bite, but the employees were at least helpful/nice..DON'T Make the same mistake..BElieve me, this area is surrounded by hotels- bigger rooms, less pricey, nicer staff..we were soo upset when we left- not a good thing when you paid soo much $$$..
Centrally located, comfortable rooms.
Noises carried as the hotel has faux wood floors throughout.
Make sure you read the "bad" reviews for this hotel. I did once I got back home and was very sorry that I did not do this before I left. I empathized with those reviewers and experienced the same frustrations myself.
We booked the Deluxe Room for 4 nights and were given a room in the back of the hotel. This room was promised the large whirlpool tub, pictured on this web site, but when we arrived at the hotel we were told that this room was not available on Booking.com at all, ever, and told that we did have a whirlpool tub. True, we had a whirlpool tub but it was a small regular size tub in a shower basin. The manager misleads people on this website and told me so straight out. We did not have a view even though we paid for the top room($1200 for 4 days) we should have had a view. I told him it was false advertising. His response was that it was good advertising. I disagree.
I didn't like the fact that the were people who came in at the same time like us and paid 1/2 the price we did with breakfast included. How did that happen? Breakfast wasn't even included for us. We don't feel we got value for our money.
The room itself, was very comfortable, cozy, clean and nicely appointed.
Get room 301 very large room with huge tub. For an extra $50 a night sooooooo worth it. We will be back soon.
I've stayed here on several visits and I have never been disappointed. Locations is perfect and the quality of the hotel and service is extremely good!
I've stayed here several times in the past and have never had to pay extra for the breakfast. This past August when I was at the hotel, they wanted to charge an extra fee (sorry can't remember exact amt). I felt the breakfast should of been included in the hotel room price as it's not a inexpensive hotel.
