Restaurant spa bathtub our room
We stayed in Urbania, which makes you feel pampered.
It is not the best location if you plan to visit the old city
The setting , comfortable rooms and very nice restaurant. The staff is very polite and respectful
I did not like that when We arrived the young receptioniste kept answering the phone and it seemed quite long to get registetered.we had been stuck for over THREE hours in an incident on the 40 and were tired. Also there was a bottle of wine and 2 glasses next to her. I thought , as in some lovely hotels We would be offered a welcome.Others were sipping in the lobby. When We got to our room the bar Keynote was not available.Little things that could improve.
* fabulous hot tub after a day of sightseeing *Monte Christo offered a wonderful dining experience
We did not dislke anything!
The hotel was very nice. The pool and restaurant facilities were fantastic.
It is a ways away from downtown Quebec, so we ended up driving a lot. Parking downtown can be difficult. We didn't find the shuttle very convenient.
Loved the staff and shuttle service. The first dinner we had at the restaurant was out of this world. I was very impressed. Highest recommendations for the Steak Poirve Vert.
Mowing the lawn at the pool and weed whacking 2 inches from my pool chair seemed ridiculous and dangerous. I would suggest that start at 8am, not 10am. Sorry, but the breakfast was as bad as could be. Hotdogs are not breakfast sausages. Not to nick pick, but the strawberries were literally molded. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to return, these issues were incongruent with the whole of the experience.
The staff was wonderful and we loved that the hotel had a free shuttle to go into the city. It saved us a lot if money.
The 7-course meal in the MC was wonderful and the service very attentive although a bit slow.
No decent reading lamp in the room. No really comfortable chairs only a desk chair and a chaise lounge that looks cute but isn't efficient.
The bar was nice. Dinner was good.
The staff are superb! Quebec City is expensive for accommodation but this hotel has figured it out. They provide an hourly shuttle service to the old part of town but you must book this in advance as the shuttle is not a bus, it's more a chauffeur service in a comfy Mercedes Benz. Just make sure you book the return trip as well. Complimentary transfer to the airport as well if you ask in advance. The pool is a great temperature with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are also some very cool hammocks in the grassed area to gently swing yourself to sleep.
The bathroom door was a very lightly frosted glass which provided little to the imagination and zero privacy. The fridge in the room had to be opened by a key which reception will give you upon request - not quite sure the reasoning behind it as we left the key in the fridge the whole time we were there. Check your bill when you check out as it seems they charge everyone for parking whether or not you have a car and its up to you to tell them you don't.
Resort feel, with the beautiful swimming pool, landscaped perfectly, and the outdoor cafe and grill, offering afternoon drinks and watermellon. Our room felt luxurious, with a huge bathtub. This was an excellent value; the room price was surprisingly low.
The hotel is far enough out from the Old City to be inconvenient. The hotel food is really expensive.
Room was beautiful Restaurant delicious Room service was great Loved the tv in the mirror in the shower Down comforter was comfortable Service was very good
We thought the hotel was beautiful. The pool, the bar and lounge were all very modern but cozy. The few things we didn't like we're: 1. In order to enter the pool later in the day we had to walk all the way through the other side of the hotel. Our room was completely on the opposite side of the hotel (385) and we felt a little isolated. 2. We would have Loved an outdoor fire pit or fireplace. 3. TV in shower was awesome but the tv in the room was Very hard to operate and frustrating to use
Luxury at a reasonable cost. This was an excellent choice on our part.
Everything was to our satisfaction.
Staff were all great, food excellent . Room was a good size and location was easy to find.
Lots of business and social events meant the corridors could be noisy at night.
The staff were very friendly and seemed to remember me from my previous visit 6 months earlier. I did have the unfortunate experience of the water turning off half way through my morning shower but the staff did their very best to apologise for this.
Poor breakfast buffet (not enough value for money) Slow service at restaurant Strange smell in corridors/rooms Noisy air conditioning system No possibility to open windows in room An additional power outlet for a computer at the desk in the room would be usefull
Every was great and more, I recommand this hotel all the way. It´s very cosy and classy.
I really enjoyed the meals!
My water ran out, they offered the room beside to shower but it turned out to be 10 rooms further in my bathrobe!
Hot tub and restaurant
Could access wifi
Our room was quite big which was great for a family of 4. Very nice modern room with great bathroom. The food was delicious.
A little far from Old Quebec.
pool and jacuzzi
breakfast was poor choice and value
* Good service compared to most of the hotels in Canada. Nearly excellent staff. * Very fast response time in room service. * Timely house keeping. * Fair price for a good hotel like that.
* Bed was not comfortable at all. The mattress was too stiff. Pillows were too soft. Couldn't have a good sleep at all for both the nights we stayed. Wish if they told us so in advance about the beds. * Food was (breakfast) was in a poor quality. Not much choice given for the buffet. However the excellent steward who served us was very pleasant and courteous which made me feel good. * Shower was called a massaging shower however it was not dispensing hot enough water. * Wash basin counter in the bathroom looked very cheap in quality, could have been better.
TerZo room with sauna/shower Luxury 5 stars hotel.
Room Service forgot to bring us our breakfest.. Its bad from a 4diamonds rated restaurant & 5stars Hotel. Was expecting nothin less but perfectness.
The hotel itself was beautiful with a charming room with a fireplace that had the elegance of a posh hotel but the lovely aroma of a cabin. The valet's were amazing and were so helpful - even lending an umbrella when we went out an outting!
A bit far from Quebec city. Some rooms are very far from the main entrance and when using the valet parking is a bit of a walk through a maze to get back to your room.
