Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre  

My room had laminate flooring ang so did the room next to me and when they walked around with there shoes on it kept me awake, also only had the option to book for 2 people not 1 so it cost me more money?

I enjoyed Just about everything. It is an older hotel & you can see signs of it's age. I've stayed here once before & I would stay again.

Staff very friendly. Very close and handy to the conference. Old building but very clean and quiet. I didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. The evening meal I had in the Dining Room was excellent.

For my breakfast in the morning which was included, the Dining Room staff would not let me take it back to my room. I was told it had to be eat-in only. I would have preferred to take a tray to my room.

Supper and lunch smorg very expensive Would recommend to other travellers to stay there but find another place to eat. Chairs in entrance need a cleaning No special rates for seniors

We had 2 lights that didn't work. one above the door entrance and one around the make-up mirror..we reported it but nothing was done during our stay there.

Excellent restaurant. We had a beautiful Valentine's dinner.

Bed bugs

The buffet breakfast was very good --- I especially enjoyed the waffle machine. Access to wifi and daily papers was great. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Bed was very comfortable, love the decore, great food, service in restraunt was not the best in the morning we had to find a coffee pot and refill own coffee. I will stay there again.

Clean rooms friendly staff

Television channel selection is very bad not many channels it is basic cable. I am up in Edmonton aprox every 3 weeks and am considering staying at the Best Western down the street next time thanks

Considering we are the street side you couldn't hear any noise.

The heating unit in Room 130 did not work properly so it just cycled on and off all night. The fan is fairly loud so it did get annoying.

Breakfast available. Friendly service.

Very pleasant staff and totally awesome food. Enjoyed our stay very much. The staff did everything to accommodate us.

Buffett breakfast was very good

We were given a none refurbished room. The room was hot and the chairs in the room were uncomfortable. The t. V. Was a jock. Not impressed. To pay the same price for this room, rather than an upgraded room is terrible.

Room was beautiful, very good value for price, well appointed, comfortable bed.

We had a appetizer and two drinks each in the piano bar off the front desk, our last two drinks had fruit flies. We sent back the drinks, the drinks were removed from our tab, but staff had very little reaction. No apologies, just brought us the tab and were told to look it over and make sure it was correct.

Close to train station as we had to catch a train early the next day.

We weren't advised that there were smoking and non-smoking rooms - our room had a musty smell and a faint odour of smoke. We had dinner in the dining room which was virtually empty - the service was not good and the food was not great. We had the buffet breakfast the next day and experienced the same poor service - difficult to get a cup of coffee and no one returned to ask if we wanted refills dispite the fact that they were not busy.

I thought the rooms were very nicely decorated and the staff very friendly. We brought our little dog and they was no problem. We went to a wedding at their conference centre and it was very nice and the best food I have ever had at a wedding. Also the piano bar was very nice and drinks were reasonable. Over all a very pleasant stay and would stay there again.

The water kept changing from hot to cold in the shower

I liked the free hot breakfast; the free internet service, and the internet and printer access in the lobby where I could print my boarding pass. I also liked the adjacent restaurant (good food).

We enjoyed our stay, our room was clean snd the hotel and the grounds were clean. Very quiet. Breakfast was awesome. Beds a bit hard.
