Huge bath towels, very luxurious.
We both loved everything about the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly. The room very clean everything to our liking
The breakfast could have had a bit more very basic but the hotel is perfectly placed for breakfast places. Just around the corner of many restaurants.
Room and furnishings. Comfy bed. Awesome marble-tiled bathroom with a great shower. Included continental breakfast. Staff was always very helpful and polite. Within a short walk from two subway stations.
Dangerous carpeting on the stairs. Spa bath was not included with the room price. Another $25 to use it per night.
Hotel has not finished its construction. Our room was not fully terminated, as the bathroom door was not installed, as well as the hot tub.
Super friendly, polite, accommodating staff; lovely decor, love the skylights, extra nice touch with having the lights on and soothing music playing in your room when you return in the evenings; felt very safe and secure; excellent location, very walkable to downtown/the metro, parking available around back; complimentary breakfast had plenty of options; WiFi was decently fast & easy to use
Wasn't told ahead of time that parking in the garage was $15/day, or that the spa tub in our bathroom was an additional $25/day to use, but they were nice and gave us a discount on the spa, and they were very accommodating anyway, so I'd still recommend them.
Lovely place just off the busy area but close enough to the Metro and Bixi to get around easily. The rooms are spectacular and worth the visit to Montreal alone.
Not really in "Old Montreal" as I was expecting... It was a good walk to get there. Very good place our hotel was just the same.
Distance to the REAL Old Montreal.
Too much furniture and other things in the lounge and around the staircase.Main stairs have steps covered with additional carpet and plastic on top which is not safe and is also ugly. and
Very beautiful and comfortable room. Very good value for last-minute deal.
Excellent location, very friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel is small and seemed a bit cramped. However, this did not affect our enjoyment in any way. Would recommend this hotel to friends.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.
The entryway stairs.
good staff and interesting layout and rooms were big and spacious
The staff was super friendly, location was great and we felt like royalty staying in a room like that. Def will recommend to all my friends and family. It also had a bed and breakfast kind of feel. Loved it.
The sign beside the toilet not to flush toilet paper. That was kinda weird and hard to remember. They were going through renovations but that's ok. Also room was suppose to be sound proof ... I could hear the people upstairs a lot. I swear I even heard snoring one night. Also I think the mattress was a king but the frame was a queen. Made the bed not so comfy.
Large, comfortable, warmly decorated room in a beautiful old house. Great location. Great value.Very friendly staff.
The hotel was situated very wel just few minutes walk to Bell Arena and city centre shop and nightlife. Hotel manager and his assistant were very helpful and made the stay comfortable. Carage was good and warm. Our Royal suite was little 'chapy' but very cousy.
The reseption was temporally, but it was under construction and the breakfast could have something more, for example cheese, ham some sausages over bread Now there was only egg, youghurt, coffee, tee, mamalade, but it went.
nice romantic bed and breakfast conveniently located in downtown, clean and with rich décor. good for romantic get away.
not comfortable in winter as you will have to make your way to the entrance through huge pile of snow and slippery stairs, squeeze through narrow corridors and steep stairs inside in your bulky winter clothes. no parking on site.
an beautiful old building with lots of charm
disrepair, parking very inconvenient
The room is quite big and fantastic. The staff there are quite helpful and nice. We may live there again if we go to montreal again.
The transportation is a bit inconvenient. We have to cross the tunnel and go upstairs to the hotel.
We all felt like princess. Great atmosphere! Love the staff.
Location, staff, fridge
weird design - sliding doors that didn't work, badly fitted fixtures and fittings and amount of clutter - did not feel like was clean.
The area, initially appeared charming however upon closer examination, to our chagrin, this was not the case.
Layout, renovations quite shoddy, safety issues related to decor and renovations, unclean bathroom.
our suit were spacious and clean except carpets. .they gave us late checkout that is appreciated,
it was far from old city, very frightening stairs not suitable for small or old people, the hotel was full of unused items ,
Everything. I'm not sure what star rating this accommodation has but I would give it the top rating. We were very comfortable, & the location was excellent, I would definitely recommend a stay. The "home' atmosphere to this hotel was a plus and we had everything others dont offer.
The only downer at the time was that there wasnt any internet or wifi as they were having problems with the provider who was working on it. By the time we left (only 2 nights) I'm sure they would have had it fixed.
