I love this place. It is central, has all younger want, it is at least my 8th visit here

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Beds & pillows were amazing & the rooms were exceptionally quiet. Staff were very helpful & pleasant from front reception, resturant & room service. Highly recommended.

We had an emergency and had to go to the hospital at 6am.....explained this to the front desk as we were leaving for the hospital......we got back around 11am.....we were exhausted and stated we could not be ready to check out on time......I asked if we could have a late check out ......they said yes but then turned around and charged us an additional $45 when we left at 3.....not very understanding or compassionate over our crisis.

Pool for the kids. Location was great.we were upgraded to a suite,which was wonderful with two kids. Very friendly staff.

Hot tub was too small. No free breakfast like the best western for a family on a budget.

the room was very clean. I was concerned when I realized our room was across from the elevator, but the room was very, very quiet.

Stuffy room need to open window or air conditioning. Also I would asked an adult floor instead of family. noisy when small children run up and down hallway.

Location is excellent, parking is great. Beds were very comfortable and the pool is nice. Isn't overly expensive even though its right downtown and has beautiful views

The bathroom was a little dated but it was not a problem at all as it was clean and everything we needed was provided for.

Noise from hallways & not very hot water in the shower.

We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and water kettle in the kitchenette, just perfect for traveling with children. Lovely view out to The Empress Hotel, downtown and some water views. Staff was gracious and helpful. The pool area was also nice. Wish we had had more time to swim, but water is deep (5-9 ft). All in all a wonderful stay! Will definitely keep in mind for next visit.

A little bit more closet space and more hangers, and a second alarm clock radio next to the bed in the main room, not just in the bedroom, would have been nice. We couldn't pick up messages from the cordless phone, had to use speakerphone, but otherwise stay was great.

We stayed in room 510. The knob to switch from bath to shower was very hard to pull. During the shower, the water changed temperature a in wide range. Maybe has to do with the 'stuck' knob. (We should have told the stuff, but forgot. This is why I'm telling you know. It isn't a complain!) We will be back!!!!!!

I applaud that the hotel offers free WiFi for internet use. This is a real pet of mine as I know it is offerred free in the marketplace. I work while travelling and this is key. I have over-paid for hotels that charge extra (and a lot) for WiFi, which is ridiculous. I like the Chateau Victoria. The staff are amazing..

The hotel was going through some renovations and the decor was in need of some updating. But, this is minor. I am a huge fan of the hotel.
