We knew ahead of time that the breakfast was continental, and the apple french toast at both our meals was very good, but it would have been nice to have home-made muffins or pastries and preserves, or fresh toast (instead of what appeared to be store bought muffins, bagels, croissants and little individual packets of jam). What was missing, was some kind of protein (other than packets of cream cheese and yoghurt) such as hard-boiled eggs, maybe some cold ham or cheese, and peanut butter. That would give this B and B an exceptional review! However, this is still very good value for the cost!
This is a very lovely home, we enjoyed the spacious room and bathroom, many windows and balcony - also very nice common areas. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and their specialty apple french toast, coffee was good. All staff were accommodating and friendly, answered our questions and eager to give information on the area.
