Score from 471 reviews Excellent
This unique hotel, located in downtown Montreal, is one of the city’s last remaining Art Deco landmarks. The boutique hotel features fully furnished loft suites with views of the city.
Score from 97 reviews Very good
Trendy, cool place. Location was amazing. Loved the decoration and style.
Open ceiling - Sunlight would wake you up early in the morning. No mini bar available. Few options for breakfast.
Room, size and style
Being disturbed by people getting up daly and walking around their room. Restaurant connected to hotel offered very poor value for money
I am in a wheelchair and the hotel itself and the rooms are far to be accessible in regard to usual standards for accessibility. However, the staff - very nice and helpful-did the maximum to help me and to make the things better. Thank you !!
Such a comfy bed its untrue! Huge shower area too very nice. Breakfast was delicious as well and also the front desk were very helpful.
Price was a little bit expenisve for what it was. Lift creaking away nicely
We had room 209, it was a suite and was very spacious we liked the decor and the bed was very comfortable. It was close to the restaurant we had reservations for dinner and close to the museum of fine art. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We liked the breakfast they had great baguettes and the best chocolate croissants.
The stairs in the suite are dark at night and I fell. Also the shower was hard to operate. My husband enjoyed the breakfast but was hoping that there would have been eggs or something more substantial at that price.
- Central location (off St Catherine) - Aesthetically pleasing design - Soothing mood lighting
- Nice bathroom but poor fittings (temp knob got jammed and was stuck with boiling hot water) - TV/cable remote didn't work properly - Room didn't have street view (looking over lobby atrium)
GREAT staff. All people in front desk were really nice. I arrived late and they upgraded me to Junior Suite. Really nice.
Breakfast was quite poor. At least some whole grain option and protein is definitely needed. The last day I decided to have breakfast in any other place. Does not fulfill the expectations of either the hotel or the restaurant (12$ a draft beer? really? and then that breakfast?).

Staff a d services No coffee in the bedroom!
Our room, 210 was more than a bit bizarre... with no outside window, it had a window that got a little light from a skylight. There were steps down into the room... no biggie. There was glass between the shower and the bedroom...you could draw a curtain to give privacy in the shower... a bit weird, however. The bedside tables were literally small stumps of wood on rollers... too small to really put much stuff on... similarly in the bathroom there was almost no counter space to put toiletries on... we resorted to putting stuff on the bathroom floor. There was no plug in the bathroom sink and the shower mechanism fell off but was still functional. One evening there was not enough hot water. On leaving the receptionist said that if we returned we would get an upgrade on our room. I will not be returning to this hotel.
Luxurious room. Great shower
Quirky, comfortable Hotel close to everything.
The shower. And excellent croissants at breakfast.
Mattress was way too soft. Wi-Fi functioned poorly.
Clean; friendly and helpful staff; central location.
Too cute but not practical; bathroom was large and clean but poorly designed. Towel hangers weren't close to the sink; lack of shelves for toiletries. Bedroom was dark and there were 3 steps from bedroom to bathroom.
Great design. Great shower. Modern. Excellent location. Value for $.
Skylight in bedroom. Creeky floors.
The setting and visuals for great for a romantic night.
We were not able to set shower temperature...extremely hot! Very noisy; music from the restaurant until 1 am; could hear others walking in their room and pulling their blinds!! Not incredible breakfast for the price...
My wife and I Loved this hotel. We've stay in Montreal once or twice a year and this is where we will return too.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was major construction happening right next door. They quickly switch my room without hesitation to an interior room to minimize the noise. While I lost the city view, I gained a skylight which was a nice bonus. Also, they offer free unlimited calling within US and Canada which was a unique amenity that I have never experienced at any other hotel before.
The lack of convenient parking, location is in a seedy area and the construction next door was overwhelming. They blocked the entrance and surrounding streets of the hotel which made it difficult to enter or exit and the noise was still very loud despite having an interior room. This is no fault of the hotel and their staff was extremely apologetic.
The front desk staff were friendly. The room was very inviting.
There was very little not too like. I guess there could have been a few more options for breakfast and my room's shower door handle wS a bit loose and will need a little maintemance but it worked.
Loved the Art Deco. Loved the room size. Adored the location could not have been better
When we arrived they set us up in a regular room when I had paid for a suite. If I had not seen the website to argue with the desk clerk that this not what a suite looked like on website they would have left me in the regular room at the cost if the suite. Although the room was beautiful I had paid extra for a suite
Decoration and atmosphere!
No parking at the hotel, we had to park a few blocks away.
All so well
Nothing bad there I guess one of the best hotel in montreal
We got a discounted rate on the hotel so we really think it was worth it. The hotel was really nice, clean, and the staff was really helpful and friendly.
The hotel restaurant was good, but closed early one of the nights we stayed there. Also, in some rooms, you can hear the restaurant music, which can mean loud beats from until midnight.
Fantastic design, wonderful staff and service!
Comfortable, well-positioned in City, friendly staff, excellent adjoining restaurant
Reception sometimes unattended
