Enjoyed the location and the room was excellent. I enjoyed the staff.

When I arrived they assigned me to a room that was already occupied. I am thankful the lady was not nude. I was also displeased with the cost. Not only was I not told of different taxes/fees...but with the exchange rate I actually paid more for my room than what was advertised. Thus, I was not at all happy with first being given a room already occupied by another and then the unknown fees etc. Not what I would expect from this establishment. (I am answering yes to the next question...only because I like the location and rooms...but would let them know of what I encountered.)

Very nice location, easy to find and close to sights, shopping and public transportation. There was free Wi-fi in the rooms, and TV with a lot of channels. Friendly staff, and luggage storage in a locked room. Great hotel, would definately stay here again another time. The rooms had an okay size at the price, the bathroom was big, and the beds were comfortable.

The room was a bit small but I hardly spent any time there so it was fine for my needs.

Nice lobby with pc use. For the price & location, very good value. Clean comfortable rooms, although a bit on the smallish side (two queens) The queen bed was super. If you're into pubs, Doolin's Irish Pub on the ground floor was hoppin' on a Wednesday night. A short walk to many bistros & music venues, such as the Orpheum Theatre (where we saw Joe Bonamssa) All in all would definetly stay again. I have stayed in the Westin Grande, a few blocks & couple hundred bucks away, but this was good.

Ok, it's on Granville. There will be "street people" after dark. There will be noisy people after dark. Deal with it ! You're downtown Vancouver. Rental car suffered a door ding in adjacent outside parking lot. Maybe better choices out there for families with children.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver was pretty great overall. We had a clean, quiet and comfortable room with city views. The location was very centralised to Vancouver city. The staff were friendly and efficient. Do not be put off by the exterior of the hotel because the inside looks new and funky. The pub downstairs was very handy.

The breakfast disappointed me. There was no cooked variety for vegetarians and had been sitting for a while when I arrived. If it wasn't for the yoghurt and apple I would have asked for my money back. The car parking is not undercover and is a vacant lot beside the hotel. We didn't have any trouble with our car though. Also the one elevator was slow and small.

Location

Breakfast could do more variety, bit more fruit, only juice was orange. Eggs could be more freshly cooked as one variety daily stacked high and became tasteless another cereal or two also would not go amiss. Lots of options nearby at good prices so they should give more.

The view from our room was just the back of an alley or the view of a wall of a building. And it was a little dark.

clean and inexpensive

The nightclub - we were on the first floor. The windows are double glazed and the room relatively well insulated against noise at 2 in the morning I could still hear the bass thumping away. Not too bad but you should but travellers should be aware of it. All in all you it should be seen as "city living"
