The room wasn't very big but had everything we needed! Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was really nice.
Staff was really nice, the room was cozy and perfect for what we needed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!
Sorry there was nothing good about the hotel , so really didn't like anything there.
I did not like that , the fact we couldn't sleep at all all night due to teh noise next door( BAR) , the Rooms are sooooo Small i couldn't even get my carry on passed the door way to the side of my bed. The bed is right by the door you can sit on your bed and hold the door open , ( i did that ) my one hear old could walk around the bed it was so tight of a space she was keep hitting her head on the wall cuz she couldn't get passed around it. hair on tyhe bathroom florrs and the floor it self was dirty too and hair on it . my one year old was keep picking them up with her toys when she would drop her toy on the floor and everytime she picked it up there was hair in her hand n toys so it was nasty. didn't even shower there cuz i rather went dirty than showering in that bathroom. looks really good on the pictures but when you are actually there and see it with your own eyes is diff. plz pay another 20$ or 30$ more and go somewhere where you can at least sleep .
The location was great
There was some painting going on early on a saturday morning. The whole floor could hear it.
The wifi was very handy as well as the 7-11 and Nesters market close by. They let me check in early which was great and the girls on reception were lovely.
It's gets seedy in the area in the evening. Wasn't out during the night so didn't visit restaurant or pub due to travelling by myself.
Bed comfy Good position Great breakfast Staff friendly and helpful
Breakfast and being able to have dinner in the hotel.
Room was pretty small and noisy.i would have liked to have ventilation in the bathroom.
Easy access to central Van., parking close by, staff friendly & helpful, breakfast good
Room small, little space to store clothes & suitcases.
Very small room No fridge in room
The beds are extremely comfortable and the amount of pillows were amazing! Heat was quick to work, and the breakfast was definitely a plus.
The room is quite small, but adequate amount of closet space and lots of ledges to put things. The TV is high on the wall, but worked great. The soundproofing was non-existent, but as heavy sleepers we were fine! Staff seemed poorly trained and not overly friendly. But would book here again!
Lots of stores around the hotel.
The location was fine for us – within the central business district and only a couple of short blocks walk from the subway station. Our room was fine for the price – not particularly big but clean and relatively modern. The bed was amazingly comfortable! Buffet breakfast was served in the adjoining Irish pub. The selection was fine although some healthier options (e.g.: fresh fruit, low sugar cereal) would have been nice.
Well located for shopping and dining
Check out time
Rude staff. Hidden charges. Paid on arrival which was a waste of time as the continued to still charge the card on file. Double charged with no appology. Still waiting for my funds to be released by the hotel, not ideal when you are travelling and have other hotels to pay for
I had a wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly and seemed to like their jobs, the room was very clean! I've stayed at hotels on Granville before and they are usually very loud due to all the partying, and even with having a pub and a night club under it I never had any problems with the noise! Thank you for a fabulous stay!
Close to shopping and friends.
The noise from the street and the breakfast was always the same.
The most helpful front desk staff and the ideal downtown location. Close to trains, buses, entertainment, dining and shopping. The hotel was in the process of being refurbished and our room was brand new and wonderful. Would reccommend 5th (top) floor as there is a pub next door and being under part of the hotel could be very noisy.
The included, buffet breakfast, which was in "Doolin's Pub" next door, was usually cold. The selection was exceptional and very good quality but hot items (eggs, bacon, sausages & home-fries) were set up in chafing dishes which did not keep these items warm far less hot.
staff was fine, location convenient
scummy area, very loud as hotel is attached to a bar, not a very comfortable, will not repeat!
Downtown location, comfortable bed
Your site said there was free parking, but it cost $25 CND a day. Even though we paid for parking, we were not guaranteed a spot. We had neighbors that banged on our walls. The room was tiny.
The staff was excellent, they helped us resolve an issue with switching rooms. Timothy that works evenings was so nice.
One of the rooms we had 502 was near a boiler room and vibrated very loud. Kept us from getting any sleep the first evening.
The bed was great. The location was very good. The staff went out of their way to help out. I changed from the Hilton to the Comfort Inn primarily due to the fact that the Quick Shuttle bus to SeaTac stops at the Comfort Inn and not the Hilton.
The elevator is busy and slow. Take the stairs for some exercise. The entrance does not have a ramp and heavy bags must be carried up the stairs. In the area there are quite a few sketchy people in the area but they are harmless.
location, cleanliness, comfort, staff, breakfast - all good
Heavy loud noise on 1st floor from downstairs until nightclub closed. Maybe wouldn't be so bad on 2nd floor and higher.
Service excellent. Room very nice.
The tv is to high on the wall.
decent parking excellent location good breakfast
a bit on the small side
Central location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Room was clean. Late check-out was a big plus!
That we couldn't have dinner at the Pub next door because of age of grandson.
