Great location. Clean. Quiet. Was great for a day stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small, but again, the room is for sleeping.

After staying in the hotel for 3 nights and on the 3rd night spending $!00 in the dining room we decided to listen to the music in the lounge, and enjoy a night cap. The waiter informed us that there would be a $6 per person cover charge for this. After saying no to the waiter & cancelling our cocktail order. At once we got up and left, stopping first to register this complaint with the Maitre D. I expected to hear from the hotel but no follow up occurred.

The bed was excellent and the location too. It was too dark when you enter and the room was too small.

Loved the location, its in the heart of old historical quebec. We took a tour which picked us up from the hotel itself. If you are going when its warmer, everything is close by for you to walk around, including the frontenac, shopping, pubs etc Really expensive to eat breakfast, not a lot of selection for room service either. But restaurants and pubs arent too far for you to venture out.

Unexpected freezing of more than $1,000 on my credit card on check-in, supposedly to cover "incidentals that we might charge to our room during our stay" or smoking.Amount frozen was almost twice total room rate! Total taxes in excess of 20%

Stayed for five nights and didn't need a car, wonderful location to walking everywhere in old town Quebec. Staff is very friendly, even tolerant of anglophones! Breakfast is amazing, especially the weekend buffet! I miss it already!

Location (close to shops, museums, old Québec, restaurants) -- old Québec architecture -- friendly service -- close to German Christmas market. Great place for a pre Christmas getaway, beginning of December. Great view of old Québec (room facing rue Ste-Anne.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of most of the major attractions. The staff were friendly and the old building had a lot of charm. The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant was excellent. Loved it! Nothing.

The location is fantastic: couldn't have found better place in old city. The room is small, but very comfortable and clean. It is expensive, but it seems to me that all hotels in that area are, so at least is was a very good choice.

The hotel is beautiful and ideally situated in the Old City of Quebec. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Although we are not French-speaking, everyone was delighted with our efforts and helpful in correcting our French, so by the time we left we were able to communicate well. So the foreign language experience enhanced our visit. The bar and restaurant areas are lovely. Justine and Annie in these areas were particularly charming. The concierge desk was staffed with wonderful people; we particularly remember Eddie and the older gentleman who were so helpful, but all were wonderful. It surpassed our expectations. There were no negatives.
