Old hotel with small rooms
Location, staff spoke English
The room was small, it was more expensive then other hotels in the area as it didn't include any meals
The hotel staff for sure! All class acts and incredibly helpful and informative. The hotel itself is very nice and is a piece of history! Great to explore. Every amenity is provided. Breakfast hours are cut short by 1 hour in my opinion. Bartenders the best!
Really none. But I'll continue to say that if the building becomes too warm for you, it's awesome that you can open a sliding part of your window for fresh air! Did I mention to great bartenders!
cleanliness, friendliness, especially location
Our only problem was non acceptance of CAA membership card (10% discount) because when you book through Booking .Com apparently it doesn't apply., although , according to CAA it should. I had a glass of wine ($45.00) at your restaurant was that the correct price or were we accidently charged for a bottle, just confirming. Thank you
Great jazz trio in lounge Friday & Saturday night!
The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. Staff are superb, friendly and helpful. Food is very good. The hotel has loads of character and comfort.
Location in old Quebec was great.
The standard rooms were extremely small.
The hotel was clean and the location was amazing. The staff was excellent! We received a free room upgrade and it was wonderful!
The jacuzzi tubs make showering a little awkward but it was still great!
The location is incredible, close to everything. The temperature control in the room was very good. Room was adequate for travellers that are in and out alot.
I had a very poor experience on the phone with one of there Concierges Whitney, but the rest of the staff were great.
Clean, comfort, parking.
I liked the Jazz night. We also enjoyed our conversation with front desk receptionists. He taught us a good dinner restaurants and sightseeing places. It was very helpful. Such kindness made our experience a lot more comfortable and relaxing. I love this hotel.
LOcation, ambiance, art deco facade
parking appeared to be included ..and was not.
great location, good price, classy heritage property
Location great. Breakfast French toast amazing. Pancakes crap.
Drink machine empty had to buy drinks at bar $$$ and not convenient.
Fabulous service, great location, charming hotel.
Our first room had a strong cleaner smell and the windows did not open, however staff were quick to give us a different room that had a window that opened.
very nice place to stay, good food. and choices. very helpful staff. easy to chat with. rooms clean. cleaning staff very nice.
price is a bit more than others, parking at 25.00 a bit stiff.
Ambiance and service
Room was small ( I booked a low cost room) Not very user friendly for business travel. Some of the overstuffed chairs could be replaced with a decent work station
Old world charm Great location
Room a bit small
Staff and location... Valet parking option, the feel out the place...
Room was tidy without a lot of kitsch and breakables for small children to wreak havoc on. It was warm and cozy, with simple but attractive decor. We had a sixth floor room with a circular window -- gorgeous view and a seat for the kids to curl into and read books (when not making aforementioned havoc)
Parking ends up being expensive, but that's the case at all city hotels.
Was disappointed with the buffet. Food was warm and choice limited.
I would have given the staff an excellent except we had a very unpleasant experience with one member who seemed to resent our asking her questions
Location, comfort of pillows
very small room
