Score from 118 reviews Wonderful
quiet, comfortable quarters
mouldy smell in the foyer and stairwells
Quiet room to room, other than the room door closing you could not tell others were there
the bathroom floor was peeling around most of the perimeter and the toilet seat had melted areas , maybe someone was smoking there and rested on the toilet seat???
Everything ☺️ comfy, cozy and just like home!
Lobby was nice, staff were pleasant and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was good, appreciated the meal coupon discount that came with the room and used for breakfast otherwise the food would have been a bit expensive.
Sewer smell in the hall way when we arrived to our room. The room was fine but the smell outside was not a good impression
Quiet rooms, friendly staff, great food. Voucher toward breakfast.
Bathrooms a bit outdated but very clean
Friendly hotel. Good transit stop with plenty of parking. Good restaurant with varied menu. Comfortable room
Staff at reception really nice
Adjoining large car park
There were no pool area activities. Closed due to maintenance. There should have been stted when the reservation was made or on their website.
for one night it was ok, breakfast was good
We had two doubles beds and asked to be moved to a king room, The girl at the desk said she could not accommodate us for some reason because we booked it online. There were Kings available
The breakfast was good in the Justamere Cafe.
Overall the building is very dated and tired looking.
Location, staff, parking, cleaning staff
wifi very slow, too expensive
The staff and the price, the laminate floor in the room. The service in the restaurant was very good although I only ate breakfast there (twice).
I was there during humid weather and the room felt damp even though the AC was running. The temp of the room was good though. The wifi was free but was pretty slow.
Free Parking easy access to Hwy.. Elevator, close to stores, comfortable bed
Internet was terrible, very weak signal, could not stay hooked.Room was crowded, shower was poor could not regulate hot water.
access to retail stores and highway commendable
despite is location, premises rundown, with wallpaper and molding falling off walls, low water pressure at times, and out of date technology. Pool was not attractive to utilize.
This inn speaks hospitality! The staff at the front desk greet you each time you come in and provide courteous, helpful, friendly service. This is my second year in a row staying there and I will plan to stay there again.
The bathroom counter space is small, because the towels are arranged in a basket on the shelf. If the towels could be placed somewhere else, the area would be easier to use.
The room was very nice, the pool open nice and early and easily accessible. Since there was no continental breakfast included it was very nice to get the $7.00 off coupon to use at the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is attached and we found it very nice. The food was very good as well.
It was at night and it would have been nice to have had better signage as to what exit to take for the hotel.
Beds not as comfortable as could be and neither were the pillows.
Good restaurant and nice Scottish-themed decor.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and the only elevator in the building was not functional. We are in our 70's and had no big problem carrying our bags upstairs but it was not really convenient. The location in a shopping mall parking lot is not ideal, though probably convenient for someone arriving on the main highway rather than through the downtown area. I checked the Doers and Dreamers guide ahead of time to see if there is a pool, but only the sauna and hot tub are mentioned so we did not take bathing suits.Info provided at the hotel does indicate that there is a pool.
The motel was updated recently and is very confortable .I stayed at the Claymore in the 1970, 1980 and 2000's in the original model.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice restaurant attached to the motel.
The elevator went out of service and we were on the second floor. The person I was with uses a wheelchair.
Wifi very slow - took almost an hour to connect Asked front desk for pizza brochures, they said could only supply phone numbers, on way back to room found brochures in their information stand Restaurant didn't open early enough for travellers or during Highland games
You can charge your car overnight.
The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable; the staff were especially helpful. I also received a coupon for the next morning's breakfast.
The hotel is just a bit dated - most noticeable in the lobby of the hotel and in the bathroom of the hotel room. But it is still charming and a "classic."
The room was nice and fresh. non scented.
The pool deck was dirty and was extremely hot. Also, the beds were horrible. I have to say it really hurt my back. I considered cancelling my second night there.
