Comfortable room. Excellent night sleep.
Air-conditioning was portable unit and did not work. Night clerk changed us to Another room which was satisfactory.
Great beds, shuttle, outside gazebo, water in foyer, breakfast was first class, staff very very helpful
Clean, spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Reasonable price.
Beds, room layout and tv
Bar and restaurant very quite
My dinner server was very sweet
Where do I start... sadly it just wasn't what I expected. The hotel is under renovations, my evening nap was interrupted by hammers and drills, the halls a clutter. That said the remodel staff were pleasant and understanding but this is the second time Booking has put me in this situation without previous warning. I ate at the main restaurant, the salmon was overcooked, chewy and unpleasant. The presentation was like that of the cafeteria I frequented in high-school. The next day I was sick as a dog. The room was cold and dated. The bed hard and uncomfortable. The soap supplied smelled harshly of banana's... yuck. I stayed at this same hotel in the late 90's, it was great... what the heck happened?? I would recommend any of the three Delta's in Calgary, what a difference! Sorry, it's the truth
The elevators need upgraded as did the bathroom in our room. Housekeeping was slow and in room at most unconvenient times.
Location was nice, had many fast food location near by.
Actually was a 3 star hotel with a sign to prove it and was under renovation. Washroom fan doesn't work and pooling of bathtub water. Maintenance supposedly fixed issue and the water remained. Room service doesn't always come to clean the room.
Stayed at this location before and te buffett is great and the service staff excellent!
staff can not even smile when talking to guests. they had construction going on the lobby and no heads up was given to us as guests. no working exhaust in the bathroom and perimeter security is questionable. a lot of people were outside the entrances, not sure if they were guests or patrons of a bar nearby.
Liked the lounge. Liked the beds - very comfortable!Liked the hotel foyer area.
We liked the food in the lounge, but felt the Sunday breakfast was poor. the quantity was sufficient, but we thought the bacon and the pancakes tasted 'off' and did not finish our breakfasts.
Even though the hotel is under renovation, everything was still clean.
The elevators were painfully slow! Tower B only had 1 working.
Friendly, helpful check in staff. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Shuttle bus to/from airport.
In process of being refurbished so looked a bit chaotic, but once that's finished will be fine.
the staff was good they answered all my questions and helped me with baggage carts and arranging shuttles to and from the airport
I used the hotel mainly for sleep so there isn't much I can complain about. I did use the hot tub though and it was one of the smallest hot tubs ive ever been in. the pool was fine but it doesn't have any features.
Dinning Room Staff excellent.
Desk Clerk on check in was curt. More interested in completing forms than welcoming guests. I was traveling with my 97 year old Mother.
It is showing it's age but is currently under renovation
Beds are extra comfortable.
Pool is closed for maintenance (wouldn't have booked here if I'd known as the kids were extremely disappointed), half of the elevators are closed for maintenance, much of the hotel is undergoing renovations.... None of which was related to us before booking.
I didnt like the Maintenance guy banging and yelling the door so loud when he mistakenly called out our room for "Maintenance service" like 50x . He could have just called out first to confirm if it was the right room he was calling.
We loved the pool and the price was fair. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have a gym too.
The elevators were broken down for 2 months. The beds are very uncomfortable and old. The air conditioning unit took up a whole corner of the room was very loud and the light was so bright it made sleeping nearly impossible with it on..so we had to swelter in the heat.
Everything was good also I arrive late and order food because I was so hungry and they gave me a very good lamb at 11:30 pm
I was just 1 night
Pool area was open till 11 it's indoor might as we'll be 24 hours considering no life guard any way wouldn't cost hotel anything
only one elevator works but it should be done till end of the year.
like the very good breakfast and always friendly staff.
staff was very freindly
Renovations were going on. Smelled in the hallways. Bathroom was old and gross.
The pillows are incredibly comfortable!
The food was terrible. We ended up not eating the soup or the wrap, and although we were completely prepared to pay for the food, it still came as a shock when the waitress did not offer another meal or have it removed from the bill.
The beds were very comfortable and the room had a beautiful TV. Shower and bathroom area were adequate. The iron and ironing board were as well.
Shuttle bus to airport does not run 24 hours, so we had to spend an extra $35 to get to the airport that we could have spent on a better hotel. The air conditioning quit in the middle of the night causing us to have an uncomfortable sleep and the coffee area was poorly stocked, although staff were happy to rectify that when asked. However, failing to give us our 3:15 am wake up call was definitely the breaking point. Front desk phoned at 3:50 to ask whether we had gotten it.
