The continental breakfast was sufficient. Some of the hotel staff were more helpful than others.
My room was out dated, and tired; which did not have the relaxed atmosphere I was looking for on my vacation. Had a good view of the ocean; however, was unable to see it properly, as the windows were full of condensation within the panes of glass. The parking lot at the back of the building is full of pot holes.
Staff were very helpful
Bathrooms and furniture need updating
Large, clean room. Close to downtown warf. We requested a waterfront view. Large windows. Staff pleasant and accommodating for 5:30 am ferrie departure.
Parking lot was dark at night and in back of hotel.
Excellent wifi, great bedding, professional staff, great breakfast.
Location and service
The ac was running but didnt cool the room off, and the room got too hot, could not open the windows. Plus our room door didnt always lock, most of the time you could walk right in
Had to leave $200 deposit on top of room charge. It was refunded the next morning but that's a lot of money!
Paying top dollar for a substandard room.Being held hostage because the ferry came in and rooms were scarce.Room smelled musty.Breakfast was terrible. The food inspector should pay them a visit. They knew they were ripping you off and and knew you knew and just didn't care and projected this. Amenities were poor.Parking doubled with a seedy bar. We will never stay there again and we were glad to get the heck out of there.
Hotel facilities as expected
Did not check-in until almost midnight from BC ferry Was not leaving until 6pm on Alaskan Ferry No flexibility for late check-out
Staff friendly, room clean and comfortable, breakfast included, location central. Had a comfortable stay.
staff and location
needs a major face lift to rooms
Bed was very comfortable
There was no cooler available to put fish we had caught overnight. The room was very hot and did not use air conditioner as was dirty. Shower switch was broken.
The staff was willing to show us options, very accommodating
The updates only went so far, and the outside is in bad need of painting and signage at street level.
The hotel is better than average as far as hotels in Prince Rupert goes. Keep in mind, Prince Rupert is less than average as far as towns of that size go.
Most of the facility was "oldish, sort of working, nothing to write home about"
shower will scald you or freeze you out. rooms are in fair shape.
the breakfast room the staff was very nice
the breakfast room should be until 9:30 or 10am as people are on holiday
Just the elevator,
It was clean and the staff is friendly.
We had a queen size bed which was good but a small room. We had stay there before and the room was good. So thinking next time get two queen size beds for the larger room. The stay was nice but for the small room.
Wifi was sketchy Room door lock quit working Bathroom is old Small room and bed Breakfast is over at 9
The staff was delightful - although this business trip was during one of the busiest times of the year for Prince Rupert (the All Native Basketball Tournament), the girl at the front desk was very accomodating - I wish I got her name as she saw me later in the evening and asked me how my room was? When she noticed my puzzled look - she said "I checked you in this morning". I was touched that she remembered me...
Nothing I diodn't like - my next trip to Rupert - I will book at the Rupert ~ it was GREAT :)
I liked that it was clean and didn't smell of cigarette smoke or stale "smells". It is an older hotel but everything seemed to work.
I didn't like that the only parking was behind the hotel and the parking lot was not indicated at all from the street. I had to go out after midnight to pick up my friend from the ferry and I had to fumble around in the dark (no light) to open my vehicle. Not a very safe situation for a solitary female.
Room was nice over all
Noise from the shower in the bathroom
Did not see offer online for shopper special would have been nice to have at least been upgraded or given gift card that was part of the special rate
-modern TV -continental breakfast -cleanliness
-did not have the premium king room I booked. Room would have been too small for a king bed anyway. Queen bed was fine - just not what I booked & expected.
I was very pleased with my room, good location good service and clean room, Kim at the front desk is the best
