This family operated hotel is a ski-in/ski-out property in the middle of Sun Peaks Resort in Sun Peaks, British Columbia. It is steps from ski lifts and hiking trails.
Score from 250 reviews Excellent
It was a great location for the Spartan Race. Our room was right behind the elevator but we didn't hear any noise from it.
The property needs a good clean up. Windows need to be redone. Balcony was not clean. Bathroom fan was very dirty. We had a fly infestation when we arrived but it was looked after right away.
LOCATION, ATMOSPHERE, AMENITIES! EARTH FRIENDLY FAMILY SIZED SOAP AND SHAMPOO!
BALCONY COULD USE A GOOD WASH DOWN BUT THE ROOM WAS GREAT!
Fully equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Right in middle of village, very close to all facilities- restaurants, convenience stores, golf course.
The cozy alpine style although very simple and the friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and of course the hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful Sun Peaks!

Pet friendly. Aeroplan.
Staff at front desk was excellent. We asked to change our room to view the Retro concert from our balcony and she (Robyn?) gladly changed it for us. Everybody was friendly and the room was very comfortable. It felt like home!
Size of room, kitchen stuff, view of the mountain and activities.
The yahoo who was banging doors at 5:15 a.m. - overheard at the front desk that it was a bus tour that was leaving but so rude!
No air conditioning in rooms
The shops and amenities, the trails and the scenery.
Paying for parking, no air conditioning, and a shower curtain that kept sliding open and allowing the shower to soak the bathroom floor
Helpful, friendly staff. Ski Resort with lots summer hiking, biking or just plain relaxing options.
Disconnect between Booking.com and Hotel on $10 Parking fee. Booking.com said fee was only charged in winter. Hotel wanted to charge the fee in July. No air conditioning (only need a couple of weeks a year, but when it is needed, it is really needed). Facilities starting to look a little thread bare - need to keep up maintenance.
Love the area.
As this area is primarily a winter ski resort it has no air conditioning in your rooms. If the facility wants to capitalize on summer usage then the rooms should be equipped with air conditioning. Found it very hot in the rooms even tough the temperature drops a bit in the evenings.
Too many mosquitos
The wall lamp wire was sliced twice to lengthen it. The wire was wrapped with electricians tape. There was slices in the cord that had bare wires sticking out. They had spliced from a large wire to a smaller one then back to the larger one. We unplugged it right away. A fire hazard. The carpet wasn't vacuumed as there were food pieces on it. The fireplace pilot light was lit so the fireplace gave off heat in a room with no airconditioning and 38 C outside.
great location. secure bike storage. very friendly staff.
hotel was pretty hot.
The staff was fantastic, just a very relaxing stay good food good sights & views, nice walks, and a brilliant golf course. Plus loads of bears to see.
Nothing, well properly the Mosquitos but with good advice we where ok.
The accomadatipns were vety cheap because of off season. For less than a hundred the room was great.
The hottub needs a roof to keep th bird poop away from the deck. It is 58km from Kamloops.26 km from the turn off at heffley store to kamloops, but 32km up the mountain.
Both day and night receptionists were lovely and helpful.
Noisy nightclub with wide open doors to all hours of the morning. Screaming and music, drunken brawls and people retching outside my suite on the path home.
Great location. Our room looked straight up the runs. The fireplace in the room and the size of the room were great. Would love to go back for a week just to ski.
The room was very good & bed so comfortable + it had a kitchenette. Easy walking to village, although we were in shoulder season, not a lot open. The village is like something out of a kids storybook, awesome. Loved it
Location and view
rooms were too hot, even with the thermostat turned off. Had to keep the window open and put up with the late-night street noise.
The front desk staff was very helpful. We had a great stay.
Location was my favorite aspect.
Room was too warm even with windows open and heat turned off. Wi-fi wasn't connecting a lot of the time.
Chambermaid on our floor was incredible. The young blonde girl at front desk was as well. Food at bottoms bar n grill was excellant. Will definitely come back!
The lodge was just outside the ski lifts. Big bonus for us!!
