It was a cute little resort, it was nice because it wasn't a big hotel. I enjoyed it except the bed's

The bed's we had were horrible, was like sleeping on a box spring, didn't sleep all night

Very nice staff, great location!!! Room was lovely, the main breakfast area and lounge was very old looking, however it suited the theme of the hotel and gananoque I'm general!! Great experience. Great layout, outdoor pool had some leaves, but otherwise very relaxing. Nice a quiet resort

Shower heads were sucky, wish there was more selection for breakfast, and wish the "spa bath" that was advertised in our room was big enough for two. Also, lots of seniors here. It was good because it made it quiet, but uncomfortable at times.

Wifi not available on the rooms. General need for renovation, old stuff.

Housekeeping missed a few things: Used cups and glasses were not replaced. Sink was not thoroughly cleaned. Had to request coffee as ones used previous day were not replaced. These were small things as rest of room was perfectly done.

Overall, it was a great room for the price.

Room was nice and comfortable with the fireplace, useful to have the robes, saved packing our own.

Water in the shower too hot and pressure affected by other users - was scalded the second morning there when the water in the shower went from warm to cold to hot to cold continuously. This had not happened on the first morning.

This resort turned out to be a motel with chalets, not the hotel, with rooms, that the advert. Led us to believe Poorly furnished with small double beds, and rooms were not clean. Advertised restaurant did not exist so the only catering was the buffet breakfast which we did not take. Staff were surly. Prices were equal to the hotel we thought we were booking. Everything was very dated and needs major refurbishment

Thewashroom at the lobby smelled very bad. In the room the beds were dirty, it was a bad smell in the room and in the bathroom. The refrigidaire was noisy. The TV was an old type with small screen an far from the be. The aircondition was very noisy, unusable. Was spider-net on the window.

It was close to the town and Casino

Way Way over priced. I only stayed because you were pet friendly and the only ones available. I will not return

The Grounds going into the Hotel are very nice but the rest not so much. We paid $145 plus Tax for this room and I would say it is way over priced. I have stayed at much nicer for far less. The outside of the Resort (if you can call it that) is updated but when you go into the room it's like jumping into a time warp. First off ..when you go to check in the smell in the front lobby is awful... like moth balls or some type of deodorizer trying to cover up what smelled like raw sewage.... the room key... yep a key (not an electronic card)... that should have been our first clue before we opened the door to the room...The windows to the room are the type that you have to push that little button (that looks like a foot) towards the window to lock it.... didn't feel very safe..The sink for the bathroom... not in the bathroom.. it's located beside the bed. The bed.. it's like something you would see at you Grandmothers house but only it feels like sleeping on a rock.... air conditioning ... yep window unit that looks to be one of the first invented and really loud... when we turned it on it was like starting up an engine.. and it actually vibrated like an engine running out of gas when it shut off. The refrigerator... or should I call it a rewarmerator.. ya.. not cold at all. the outside pool it completely lit up at night but they lock it up at 6pm... so you need to go to the inside pool... it's abig pool... if you are two. Its about 20x30 if you're lucky. its like a large hottub which was probably the only nice thing about this place if you could get in it.!! UPDATE IS SERIOUSLY NEEDED FOR THIS PLACE!!

Large facility with many rooms set in a motel style. Rooms were clean with basic facilities. Large in-ground pool in middle of facility, great for families with kids. Few minute drive to downtown Gananoque. Breakfast was good but basic. Consisted of toast, bagels, muffins and dry cereal, with some fruit and yogurt as well. Orange/apple juice and coffee/tea.

Wireless internet is only available in main office area, not accessible from rooms.

What a jewel! Everything one could want for very good basics. Well maintained, friendly and helpful front desk, quiet but close to town. This will be our place from now on. It's a class act with modesty. Thanks.

Free breakfast is advertised but it is a continental breakfast. This is not evident in your information.

The rooms though clean and proper could use a renovation, particularly the ventilation.
