Price. Location. Gave lots of towels. Pressure of shower and lots of hot water. Quite.
Not clean. Thick layer of dust behind TV stand, mirrors not wiped down. Carpet not vacuumed. Stains on the rug. Only one channel. Belonging from prior guest still in night stand.
The bed, the WIFI, the TV
It was very dirty, the personal wasn't there all the time = you have to wait, the personal hasn't any knowledge from the are what you can do in your free time
Temperature control Quiet Parking Staff
Excellent service and Everyone friendly
clean comfy bed
no coffee stir sticks only 1 coffee cup for 2nd morning(2 people!)
The place is run down and unkept
Reasonably clean and well located.
Smoking room reservation placed in non smoking room. Wi Fi impossible out of range in room. No TV until batteries replaced in controller. Hotel billed higher price than advertised because day of reservation would not change on booking website.
a convenient location
small dingy.... smelled terrible...and was dirty.....hair on pillow... bathroom floor has not seen a mop in awhile.... one word.... disgusting..... totally would not recommend
Best price in Kamloops. Clean beds and room. Wifi and cable were good.
Pool was closed. Bathroom needs an upgrade as tub was well marked and had no fan.
Reasonable price, close to where I had to be.
If you stay more then 1 night they don't clean room/replace towels etc. Wi-fi & TV worked intermittently, off more then on
We were travelling with our large dogs and it was the perfect place. I did wipe everything down with cleaner and we used our own sheets and pillows but once it was clean it was great we will stay there again.
The guy in a monthly rental was staring at us and giving us dirty looks he just sat outside watching it was creepy. It wasn't clean.
Very close to all amenities.
Needs a facelift.
Friendly front desk staff
They didn't clean up or replace the coffee so I couldn't have coffee Sunday morning :(
very, very old units- have not been painted for many years-dead-bolt broken-hanging bar for towels had fallen off and not replaced-old tvs-bathtub bottom no longer had the porcelen left- etc -- would not recommend it to anyone - actually would have been better of if I had brought a tent!
The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our family. We had very few choices for accommodations in Kamloops as there was some event happening in the city. We were very skeptical at first, but the rooms were clean and comfortable, and our children thoroughly enjoyed the very clean outdoor pool.
Bathrooms could use some updating. Parking lot isn't the greatest.
wifi worked well, as did the air conditioner, which was a bonus in the heat.
could have been cleaner, towels became fewer and fewer over the course of my stay
Was very dirty inside and with children not the kind of place I would take them normally
Was dirty on numerous surfaces and didn't like that they put all the travellers together when there were many rooms unrented they had 6 rooms all together so it was very noisy
Only that we were able to find a rm
Dingy, dark, dirty bathroom floor, carpets looked dirty. Cement stairs were falling apart, a liability. Price was outrageous for a no name hotel $171 certainly was not a best western or Sheraton
The pool was nice. The location was good. The staff were friendly.
The room was very dark with light bulbs missing. There was an awful smell which did not go away. The sink and wash basis did not drain. The sheets and carpet were stained. The whole place was run down. We only stayed one night although we had paid for two.
Found dead bugs, stank, extremely tiny for a family of four and pets, garbage from previous guests were still there, poorly maintained, not recommended.
I was able to get out of it instead of the intended four days I was going to stay there
The reason I picked this place was the price. It was the cheapest place in town for the time of year.It was ok but not the cleanest place I have stayed at.
It was nothing like the pictures they post on the website. Very run down place. I would not stay there again, even though I'm on my motorcycle and not that fussy.
The Office was open 24 hours.
When I drove into the parking lot, I could see the disrepair of the place. The mortar or concrete of the stairs was flaking off, showing the rebar. The worst part was, I think the only time the room was cleaned, was when I took a shower!!!! I stayed 4 nights, and the room was cleaned once, but it was only vacuumed and bed made. I had to get my own towels on the 2nd and 4th nights. Only 2 out of 3 lights had bulbs, and 2 were unplugged. The room was very dark. The A/C was nice, but due to the 1/2" opening around & 3/4" on the bottom of the front door, it was useless, as the hot air poured in. Also, the bolt lock didn't work on the door. The bed was very soft and was balancing on the wooden platform connected to floor so if I moved the bed would bend, as well as the paper thin pillows. When the room was cleaned, the cleaning staff member moved all my stuff around and unplugged all my electronics ie:laptop. They also moved my needed paperwork to a bed side table drawer, which I found by accident. When I tried to wash the utensils I brought from home in the sink, the drain was filled with old pieces of bar soap. The place to hang jackets only had 1 hanger. The shower head was so far down, that my back touched the wall when washing my hair. The curtains track around the front window was falling off the ceiling in 2 locations. Due to heavy rain 1 day, the area infront of the front door was a big puddle and was leaking into the room and soaking the carpet. The TV was an older CRT model and was positioned on a sliding tray, but due to the weight, it almost fell on me when I pulled it out to watch without being covered 25% by the cabinet it was on.
Decent little budget motel that has a great location. Staff were accommodating and understanding. This is a good place to stay if you don't need a lot of frills but still want to be close to everything.
Wifi & TV didn't work, room wasn't cleaned/ towels/linen not changed
