Comfort Inn Airport Dorval  

I needed one night close to the Montreal airport. This hotel has a close location, was reasonably priced, provided coutesy airport transportation and included breakfast. When I called about plane delay, my reservation wasn't in system, but they were very nice about assuring me we would work it out. Booking.com called and it was immediately fixed.

Breakfast is minimal; staff in breakfast area was brusque.

The breakfast room was quite small and filled up fast. The beds we had were actually slanted downwards (from legs to head), which was odd. We would have asked to switch rooms, but it was late and we were tired (and we 'fixed' the issue using the 4 generous pillows we were given). A bit expensive if travelling solo (about $100 per night for the room).

I was very impressed with the service. Everyone working at the hotel and especially the front desk were extremely helpful and pleasant. The free shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing luxurious obviously but worth the money I paid, and if I were to travel for business again, to montreal, I would most likely stay here again. The comfort inn in pointe claire is a little bit nicer if you prefer,(farther away from the airport though) however I think it is a little pricier. However I wanted to go shopping and the shuttle drove me from dorval to the pointe claire hotel, where they let me leave all my bags. The pointe claire location was only a 10min walk to the fairview mall which was great, and then the shuttle took me back to the airport. Very pleased overall with the service.

Price was good, centrally located, good breakfast

Telephone was not connected properly, took a while to correct, but perhaps the person cleaning the rooms should check to make sure the phone is working properly. Bathroom door needed to be cleaned

It is close by the airport and I have a Comfort Inn card.

I have stayed there a couple of times. Both times when trying to find the Shuttle from the airport I could not find it (and no people around who knew to tell me where it was). I had booked a room and knew I would have a late arrival. The hotel doesn't have an elevator and when I arrived the size of room I booked was not available on the bottom floor. After midnight with heavy luggage and no one to help I took the room at the higher price that was offered me. I don't think I should have had to pay that.

Cheap rate, close to customers location and Dorval Via Rail station

Flaky internet access - last three stays I had problems with the connection and had to call tech support.

Rooms were reasonably priced and clean.

The hotel shuttle ran on a preset schedule that was very infrequent. I had to wait over 1/2 hour at the airport for the shuttle after calling for a ride. In the morning I had to leave 3/4 hour before I needed to since the shuttle trips were scheduled 1.25 hours apart. This is a strange policy for what is primarily an airport hotel and is only 2-3 km from the airport. Some of the other hotel shuttles came twice while I was waiting for this hotel shuttle.
