Plaster Dust everywhere...hallways of plywood no carpet. Very old rooms. Stay away until the Reno is finished.
the fire doors on the 2nd floor slam shut, make quite a loud noise when they close - otherwise enjoyed my short stay
Close to the Mall Nice and Quiet - not busy Our room was clean Room Heating was quiet Staff were pleasant
Hotel looked tired Not a very scenic setting looked out at the back of another building and an empty lot - not pretty Breakfast Room very small-we went elsewhere for breakfast even though included in hotel rate TV stations very limited
The breakfast provided a great start to the day.
Booked 3 rooms. First room never been cleaned, beds not made. Second room raisons and dirt all over the floor. 3rd room mickey bottle found beside the bed and dirty floor
no widows for fresh air
Arrived later in the day to our hotel to find it was a football weekend and there were tailgate parties and bbq's going on in the parking lot. Music playing... overall not a welcoming feeling for a couple of seniors arriving. Didn't feel comfortable . Only one lady on staff to handle all the problems. Felt sorry for her. We only stayed the one night.
Older hotel not updated mattress hard and uncomfortable stairwell smelled of smoke expensive for this hotel
Windows and sills were filthy. Stairways smelled like cigarettes. Sheetes appeared to be washed but two hairs were found on them upon opening.
Accomodating staff allowed an early check in so we could be fresh for our friends wedding. Breakfast room staff very friendly and helpful
The entire place reeks of stale cigarette smoke, like it hasn't been cleaned or updated in decades. The upholstery on the chairs in the rooms was stained and disgusting. The pillows were stained yellow and smaller than any pillows I've ever seen. The breakfast room was far too small for all the guests - we had to sit in the lobby to eat.
Weird smell coming from the bathroom
The smell of smoke in the hallways and doorways was disgusting.
The whole place smells like a stale ashtray. WIFI is a complete joke.
We were there for weekend, the hotel was pretty quiet, located close to a lot of things. Cleaning service was good. We literally only used our room to sleep in so can't really complain about that. Fresh towels and bed turned down daily which was nice.
A little disappointed upon check in that my bill was higher then quoted on booking.com with no explanation given and the check in staff wasn't as friendly as she could have been. Booked online using my visa/debit card and she wasn't pleased with this at all.We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast as very tiny crowded space.
Clean room and bathroom.
Following an accident on the stairwell that involved both my husband & I, resulting in my receiving a torn rotator cuff injury, & spending an afternoon on Belleville Emergency room, I can't recommend staying at Belleville Comfort Inn. The staff didn't seem to know how to handle the report of our injuries or make any attempt to extend assistance before I went to the Emergency room. Also refused to change our room from 2nd to first floor despite two requests, knowing my husband had mobility issues. The hotel was fully booked and the staff insisted they couldn't make any changes to accommodate our needs. I will not stay at Belleville Comfort Inn ever again. I have reported this incident to the Customer Relations of Choice Hotels. Also extremely small breakfast room when hotel is full of guests, and no tables are available to sit down.
the room was clean
Breakfast area is too small we had to eat in our room and the food was poorly organized and not enough so we had scraps. Building is old need updating!!
Smell of cigarette
The staff were helpful and friendly It was ok for a stop over for one night
although two of us looked over the website we missed the fact that there is no elevator. I use a cane so this was a significant problem. Although it was our error it is important to let others know this. The hotel is quite tired and in need of repair
We checked-in July 26 2014 for one night. Where rec-d by a lady who works at trenton and belleville, she was very polite. Also on sunday moring for breakfast the two ladys that worked that day ( Kestra and Lois ) they went out of there way to accommodate us. At check-out the lady behind the counter was also very helpful. We will stay there in the future.
Room was typical design and comfortable.
Smell of cigarette smoke in lobby and main floor. Annoyingly loud air conditioning unit. Yelling guests down the hall continued until 2AM
as we only stayed one night. there is not much to say . except it was clean, and comfortable we liked the fact we were on the ground floor and we could park our car in front of our unit.
the breakfast room was small . but the food was good.
The location was convenient to shopping and food facilities. The bathroom was very clean and the room was nice. I had a side of the hotel that was very quiet considering it was in a city. I appreciated getting a discount because I was in town for a funeral.
I didn't like the internet service, it was very slow or nonexistant. I didn't like the smell in the corridors. I am a nonsmoker and the place reeked of cigarettes even though the signage said no smoking in corridors. I feel the whole building should be smoke free and the carpeting should be shampood and a fresh coat of paint applied.
I liked the big parking lot for our boats and trucks
I asked for a lower level room way in advance so was a little disappointed when we got there and were put on the top floor
Didn't sleep, Dogs in other rooms barking all night.
