Everything.Especially the pool that was a bit chilly until you got used to it.
The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Our first room had an order. They moved us to another room with no problem.
Wifi, frig, microwave, free parking, location, quiet room (not overlooking road).
poor reading light by bed
I loved the room, it was comforable, had a great view of the water, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was excellent. Probably will not be back in Halifax due to age and wanting to see other areas, but would love to stay at this motel again.
The only thing that was a bit negative was the distance from our room to the check-in area where the breakfast area was. We both have disabilities and it was a bit far and steps to deal with in the hallway, other than that it was a perfect stay.
The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. It was nice that there was a small fridge and microwave in the room for convenience. The breakfast was very good with a good combination of hot food and cold food
The location. Unfortunately there is not much around and you really need a car to get to places.
Great welcome nothing to much trouble for the staff here. Nice rooms and enjoyed the indoor pool.
The room was great and had a nice view. The two staff members who were working upon check in were fantastic!! (Thanks Girls). The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel wasnt to far away from anything needed. The staff were able to tell us where to eat and places to see.
The ham was over cooked at breakfast every morning, but there were many choices other than the ham.
close to city good view of basin. friendly staff
I really like the bedrooms , clean , beds were super comfy !
Continental breakfast was horrible ! Stay there for 2 days and both morning there was almost no food ! ( eggs and pantries ) ..
Location was great. The room was clean and comfortable.
The barking dog locked in a room when we first went to our room. We went out for dinner, came back 2 hours later..dog still barking. Finally at 1am I had to call the desk, as the dog was now also howling non stop. 1:30 am, dog still howling. Allowing pets to be left unattended in room is UNFAIR to other paying customers. I think we deserved a rate cut for what we had to listen to all night. Finally put the a/c on to drown out the noise. Nonsense!
The location of the property is good as the view out of the front window. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly.
The rooms were so-so for comfort and not visually appealing. The breakfast is edible. It helps if you were in military service. And the value for the price paid just isn't there.
Comfortable Bed. Fridge and microwave because I have to prepare my own food.
The windows need maintenance. I couldn't open them easily.
You exceeded our expectations.
We stayed there for two nights before we headed to Peggy's cove. It was amazing.
The low price for a great room. Cleanliness and the likes
Far from center of Halifax. About 15 minutes by car but much longer if travelling during rush time.
I liked that staff, nice big comfortable room. The breakfast was great. This hotel is pet friendly; which meant I was able to take my little dog with me.
I really can not say anything negative about my stay.
I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn Halifax so much I wished I could stay longer. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean, large, and had everything one could need. They have a lovely porch with Adirondak chairs overlooking the harbour to enjoy your coffee on. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Staff was very friendly; dog friendly (as were staff and other patrons). Loved the verandah overlooking Bedford Bay. Less then 10 mins. and you were right downtown Halifax, or uptown shopping centre.
large room pleasant , helpful staff breakfast wifi
-room very warm , used a fan instead of ac -tv choices limited and reception poor; no HD
I loved everything from where we stayed to all the beautiful scenery!!! I would highly recommend it!
Like no! I LOVED EVERYTHING!!!!!
helpful staff clean very comfortable beds/pillows
- it was a bit noisy: other guests and the air conditioner; - we went down for breakfast at about 9:00; they did not have any bacon left, very little coffee in the urns.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The busy highway right out front
I liked the choice of hard or soft pillows. I also liked the coffee station and friendly staff.
I found the bed too hard
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Front porch chairs were great and view of the water was relaxing.
Bigfoot was upstairs neighbor. The sound of stomping around carried.
