Could not get a smoking room

every thing was good except the cleaning

i didt like two things about the cleaning of the room when i first enter my room everything was supposed to be fresh while it wasnt the paper basket was full of garbage and wasnt clean and the bathroom was so dirty

Comfortable and clean, friendly front desk staff, helpful and willing to speak English as we do not speak French

After the room is cleaned there is a terrible odour of some cleaning spray/disinfectant. It was commented on by many people and is quite toxic smelling. As someone said "It was like being sprayed with DDT!"

Location was good for my purpose (Centre of the West Island).

The facility is out dated, but rooms had a fair size. When entering the room it was clean, but smelled very humid (almost like mold). The breakfast area was very small, but it had all the necessary food to start off the day, without an empty stomach.

Room was larger than we expected.

No elevator. We were located on the 2nd floor. When you have kids, lots of luuggage to carry.

Close to the village of Pointe-Claire.

Very small bathroom.

It was a great spot and met our needs. I little updating on the decor would enhance the facilities.

L'attitude des gens à la réception, la propreté et l'ensemble de la chambre.

Le système de chauffage/ climatisation bruyant. Je trouve aussi que c'est très ''cheap'' de faire payer une bouteille d'eau après avoir chargé 120$ pour une chambre avec un lit

Les lieux sont propres et les proposés ont pu me servir en français.

La personne de la réception ne savait pas utiliser une carte de crédit avec pin et a refusé la carte. Il a fallu insister... Le nom de l'hotel porte à confusion car il n'est situé à Dorval où nous nous sommes rendus mais à Pointe Claire.

Le service du déjeuner laisse grandement à désirer : manque de place dans la salle à manger (si nous pouvons appeler comme cela cette pièce) Ingrédients du déjeuner à minima (absence d'oeufs frais, omelette, ....

L'accueil du préposé, très disponible et souriant. La propreté de la chambre et la discrétion du service aux chambres.

Hotel personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Nette kamer en schoon.

Bruit dans les couloirs, notamment dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi.

Hallways are smoky,air conditioning is noisy and the early mornings filled with noisy door closings. Insulation does not keep street noise away.

It is reasonably priced and a convenient location for my trip. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice.

Within a walking distance from the mall.

Very noisy heating/air conditioning system. Difficult to adjust the exact room temperature.

Personnel chaleureux, souriant, bonne source d'informations pour nous guider dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner fort apprécié. Chambre, comme toujours très bien.

Reasonable price. Convenient location on the west island of Montreal near: airport, major hwy and road/intersection, grocery store, mall and other stores really nearby within easy walking distance. Simple straight forward layout. Easy parking near rooms. Easy to check-in and out. Just a good, very basic room, without complications, at a good price, in a good location and easy to get in and out of. Simple and quiet place to spend the night and rest. All good. That's all I wanted ... and all I needed. No problems with anything. All clean and good.

Well ... nothing really. All good ... Except just keep in mind this is not really the location to stay if you want, maybe to be near, and do stuff in *downtown* Montreal. You would need, I think, to go with your car or vehicle from this location, if you wanted to go into the downtown of Montreal from this location. This is more a location to stay the night, simply, for a reasonable price, and need to go to Montreal's Trudeau Airport for some reason after. ex. to leave for a trip yourself, or to pick up or bring passengers - for the next day. Or - if you just want a convenient stop off point to rest the evening in the West Island of Montreal. There are basic stores and amenities nearby to buy a few things as well.
