---neighbourhood; such immediate proximity to the QEW
Clean and quiet.
The mattress was "extemely" hard. Hardly slept, had sore back and neck in the morning. The staff did give a refund on our second night so we could go elsewhere... they were considerate!
Close enough to Shaw Festival but far enough away to be much less expensive accommodations. IHOP attached great for breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, beds great. 24 hour coffee in Lobby.
Location only accessible by car. No place to walk and shop without using car.
I liked the room, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was hot water.
The cable tv (Cogeco) was terrible, very few good stations. The AC unit was loud and no adjustments available, just a temperature setting. The door to the parking lot had a sign (look broken, use main entrance) a 200 foot walk every time you went to your car and could not get back into the hotel unless through the lobby!! My god FIX the lock, are they broke? I specifically asked for a QUIET room, I was put on the 2nd floor right beside the door to the stairs, this door banged when closed and it closed all night long and again in the early morning, there was a soccer team there, half on 1st floor and the others on 2nd floor. I was told they would all be on the 1st floor, a blatant lie. No micro wave, no fridge, overall for the money this was a big disappointment.
Good location and awesome staff
It was noisy and the price was bit much . I would pay $108 + tax forthis room.
Was glad they had all the info and did not have to search for my reservation. Location is fair.
People party Saturday night into Sunday morning. If I had taken pictures of all the beer can and bottles. Not a nice picture.
Some kind of hockey team were staying there at the same time. Lots or partying and noise and booze and vomit in the parking lot. My A/C smells quite bad of mustiness.
The service at the front desk cleanliness of the rooms cleanliness of the corridors and general environment of the hotel
Fire alarms that disturbed frequently on the morning of Friday July 4
The convenience of a good breakfast restaurant right next door
A bit difficult to find when I first arrived
Access to the hotel was tricky off the QEW
We were in town for a two night stay. Our room was not cleaned at all after our first day - bed not remade, towels not switched out - and no compensation was made for this error. Hotel itself is newer, but with high humidity and no AC in the hallways, large fans were being used to move stale air around. Our AC in our room worked fine, thankfully. Sometimes at $80 per night, you get what you pay for!
The room was a good size. Had Wifi. The beds were very comfortable. Nice TV. Close to all the attractions. Not too many people around. We were in a quiet part of the Inn.
On first look, the bathroom looked clean. However, on closer inspection, the door handles and knobs have not been washed...maybe just old and the bathroom door needed a washing. There was coated dust/dirt on the outside of the tub.
IHOP next door was excellent breakfast option
Having no access to rooms other than the front door for which I am sure security was the reason
One of the side door was broken. Had to go around the builing to get in.
Staff were friendly and very apologetic when I told them about the condition of our room and made an adjustment to my bill to compensate for it.
There was hair in the bath tub and not just a little but alot and the carpet was not vacuumed and there was dirt on the floor, quite a bit I might add.
The beds were very comfortable. The afternoon staff was very friendly.
No pool. If you don't check out right at 11am the staff was very rude.
rooms nice close to restuarant lots of heat close to mall will stay again
The location by the QEW and the nearby restaurant
The noise in the halls and the lack of directions on how to run the heating unit
Check in staff very nice have stayed here about 10 times now and it is our hotel of choice when going to St. Catharines.
Staff at he Inn were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Also the girl who served us at iHop was the same. Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be booking there again when we want to go to Niagara Falls for a night out. Respectfully yours, Ken Savage, Brantford, On.
Bed was comfortable and room was larger than expected.
Room was very cool when we arrived and seemed to take forever to warm.
The room; the lady who checked me in the friday I checked in. She very helpfully found me a spare charger for my phone. The location. The proximity to other services (qew, fairview mall)
The guy who checked me in on the saturday evening could have made more of an effort to find the phone charger I required (the one I had used the previous night), the hotel could do a better job of controlling late night noise. I was awoken around midnight saturday night by a group of rowdy young people. Some of us do have things to do early sunday morning.
Lack of accessibility; despite indicating a possible need for a wheel chair on reserving the room, we were assigned a second floor room. There is no elevator. We were told, "It's only about ten stairs." Even entering the hotel from the parking lot is difficult and involves at least two high curbs. There are no accessible doors.
Location coming into St. Catharines
Dirty hotel, apathetic staff.
