The friendly staff who became like friends the longer our 48 hour visit (needed after emergency cancellation of stay with friends). Also our own kitchen.

The room was a little dusty but because Vancouver as a whole was suffering from smog I do not feel that Comfort Inn could do a great more than it did.

Close to Capilano Suspension Bridge. Old, but clean. Beds were comfortable. Good water pressure.

Pool didn't look appealing, but guests were using it...

The location was great - easy to access and close the highway and Stanley Park. The staff were really friendly (especially the morning staff) and the breakfast is good.

They gave us a free upgrade which was more spacious, but the room was right by the pool so it was really noisy. It was also a bit run down - worn carpet, dents in the closet doors, etc. The bathtub didn't drain properly (staff said they would fix this after we told them), the toilet ran constantly, the door on the one bedroom didn't close because the bed was too long and a huge spider kept crawling up the kitchen sink. Overall, not a great stay.

I had no problems at this hotel at all. It was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and it was well-situated to a grocery store (Save-On-Foods) and places of interest (Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, highway to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminals, etc.). Is it pristine? No, it's an older place but seriously, if you want pristine, stay at a Hyatt Regency. The breakfast bar is nothing to write home about. I booked a Queen Suite with a kitchenette so I ended up making my own breakfast anyways. It was quiet the whole 5 days I stayed and noise was not an issue from the streets or the other rooms. (I'm an author and was writing when I wasn't sightseeing--noise would have driven me over the edge!) If you partake, they have a partnership with a fitness facility that's about a 5 minute walk from the hotel--it's not on-sight. Also, the pool is a smaller one and was in use most of the time I was there. No biggie. What I could have used, though I didn't ask for one, was a tea kettle to boil water for my coffee press pot. I ended up using a pan. As a side-note and if it's a concern, they will charge your credit card an extra $25 "holding fee" which is supposedly refunded when you check out. I was unsure why they did this because I paid for the room when I checked in. I think it was unnecessary. Wifi took awhile to join into the network but it did eventually work.

Location, courtyard, breakfast provided, quiet!!! Staff friendly, computer in lounge area, nice pool like a backyard one small but not crowded; AC in bedroom which was handy because it was hot the week I was there, I look forward to coming back with my wife.

It's a little old and worn, some of the appliances could be replaced; furniture, fridge, microwave, stove. They said they could provide gluten free bread and didn't. WIFI iffy, always bumped out and having to re-register.

The location was great and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Clean, safe feeling, and handy to both downtown and North Van. Great for a night or two. Free parking. Free breakfast.

Room was clean, but smell left was cloyingly powerful. Beds are old, but comfortable with pillow mattress covers. No fridge. Air conditioner was noisy. Breakfast nook was tiny and crowded. An afterthought, but it serves.

Room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was polite and efficient. Price seemed reasonable given prices of downtown hotels. Only 15-20 min by car to downtown over the Lion's Gate Bridge and 10 min to Stanley Park. Handy to TransCanada Hwy too.

Our room was located in separate building squeezed in corner of their lot. Steps to 2nd floor rooms were directly in front of our room door, hence noise in the morning with early check outs.
