We stayed for two nights. Early evening on the second night, we ran out of water. We called the emergency number twice and the man on the other end said he was nothing he could do (as there were sounds of a party in the background). He didn't really give an explanation for why we ran out of water. The second time we called, he repeated that there was nothing he could do but promised to send someone the next morning at 9. No one came.
We tried to get a reduction in price because this severely affected our enjoyment, but all they did was give us a gift certificate for the next time. Meaning we would pay that high price again minus the gift certificate.
Honestly, knowing there is a limited supply of water would make us not want to go there again.
The least they could do is tell you that there is a limited supply of water. All they do is tell you how to save water in the contract.
We loved the view, as it was the topmost cabin. The hot tub was nice, as well as the log cabin feel. The place was clean when we got there, which was nice. It was also a good sized cottage. Another plus was the pleasantness of the person we dealt with on the phone for reservations.
