The friendliness, helpfulness, and willingness of the owner to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Unparalleled. Some of the photos on the website don't represent the actual room and can be slightly misleading.

We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The kithenette in our room was well stocked, and the rest of the room had everything we needed. Maps and guides to area hikes and beaches were provided. Our host was charming, informative and a great cook. Our breakfast kept us going all day. Some establishments will claim to be "pet friendly", but a dog barks once, and there's trouble. That was definitely not the case at Cougar's Crag. There are dogs that live there, and all the facilities a guest dog might need are provided.(including guest doggie bowls in the kitchen). Our dog Rosie will be coming with us next time.
