owners help breakfast
Loved the apartment suite, the breakfast was fantastic, owners were great and friendly to deal with, I highly recommend this place!
Amazing interior comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast would stay again in a heartbeat
Needs to inprove the exterior and entrance hard to fine in the dark
A very clean, attractive and well appointed, very quiet, 2 bedroom apartment. Entertaining, informative, terrific cooks for B&B-style breakfast. We wished we didn't have to leave so we could enjoy the rooms, hosts and guests for at least one more day.
Steep flight of stairs to 2nd floor accommodations.
The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and delicious.
Peaceful. Interesting conversation. Excellent breakfast.
A little hard to find.
Due to my medical condition my wife and I must take 2 day holidays only. Country Encounters filled the bill to the top. Great food, room, staff and surroundings made this holiday top notch. Would return in a heartbeat.
Us "country folk" lol couldn't figure the coffee pot out
Hadn't been to a bed and breakfast before, this was a great experience. Next time we go to Coleman this will be out first choice for accommodations! Thank you :)
Dawn and Mark are so friendly and great cooks. Our stay was short (one night) but quiet and comfortable, and the food was exceptional.
Nothing not to like, really. We stayed in the apartment which requires climbing some steep stairs, but we were able to handle those fine.
This Mercantile turned B&B is located in Coleman's historical district with a backdrop of Crowsnest Pass. The owners (professional chefs) made us feel at home while feeding us an incredible breakfast.
No complaints! The hot tub is a bit dated.
The character and history of the building were interesting. Our hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They made us feel very much at home. The food was good too!
everything. The building has an interesting history that the hosts researched. It was nicely decorated, comfortable and lots of little extras like a coffee island complete with cookies and a patio for our enjoyment. Every room has it's own bathroom. The breakfast was delicious - lots of variety. The hosts were both accommodating and helpful and just generallyvery nice people.
the breakfast was very good
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Coleman is an interesting place with lots of history, but it's also close to the highway so it's convenient for travellers. The rooms are attractively decorated.
The staff were friendlt once we founfd them on arrival. The food was very good, and the rooms were very clean na dwell set up.
The appearance of the building was poor even given that it was in an area of Coleman that needs rehabilittation. Mor eimportnantly we were there on an extremely hot summer day and the rooms were like sleeping in furnaces as non of the windows would open due to years of paint sealing the windows shut. Neither group had much sleep and that ruined the entire stay. Very disappointing.
We loved staying in the apartment! It was perfect and roomy for our family of 4. Breakfast was delicious and location was great and within walking distance of some beautiful trails. Would definitly stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the area.
Only one thing, there was a few noisy cars driving by at night occasionly.
Awesome breakfast Very clean Great customer service Beautiful decorations Comfy rooms The only reason I didn't rate 'excellent' for Quality of sleep was because it was quite hot, but that's totally out of the control of the hotel!
The renovated washroom, Comfortable bed, tons of towels, clean and tidy
Very small room and super hot in room. Nice to have ceiling fan but needed
Great breakfast Nice location Very freindly people
Simple and friendly
Smell of cigarette smoke in futon. May all be too rustic for city folk.
The room was beautiful. Access to a jacuzzi, hot tub, and sauna. Steak and eggs for breakfast. The owners were wonderful.
The front entrance looks like a workshop.
The breakfast was delicious, and the company (the owner/chef) interesting. The room was nicely done; clean, tastefully decorated. The owners are working on additions and improvements. Dedicated to good service.
Room could use reading lights on each side of the bed. Although we may have had more if we paid more, the room was quite small.
Family run business, excellent meals, central location off the highway, very friendly staff.
The hosts are outstanding people...very friendly and helpful. The building is located within an historic site, and the history of the area is reflected in the building's décor. I have stayed several times, and always find it very comfortable and quiet.
