Staff were very helpful Location and grounds were beautiful
First room was not in good condition Full suite was not in the best condition either Third, smaller suite with Murphy bed was somewhat better Tables and rugs were in poor condition
Garden, ocean view, location, friendly and welcoming staff, peace and quiet, dessert, driftwood fireplace, bar fridge
Mattresses needed a softer top, bathroom fan was inadequate, building and patio furniture were in need of some cosmetic repairs, cable TV problem was not fixed
Tammy was my massage therapist and she was the 'best' - really has a gift in her art.
The view from the balcony was just amazing...
Unfortunately there is not enough pool and beach chairs,( you have to wait to get a chair) and it would be nice to have more sitting areas in the garden. The Beach is not very nice, no sand....
View. Front desk staff very helpfull. Overall a nice stay.
Pool facilities very busy with large wedding party. Not a negative but... Poor repair on some aspects of the building maintenance. Sign falling off, etc.
Love the location, landscaping, spa facilities, room amenities and furnishing.
Restaurant pretty pricey and the staff were a bit pretentious (they warmed up after engaging in conversation).
The view is amazing and so are the surrounding gardens. It looks like it's an older resort, but it has a certain charm to that. The spa at the resort is lovely too and the people there do their best to give you a relaxed experience.
Everything was great, but it seems one area that wasn't paid any attention to was the guest rooms. We had one of the more modest rooms and the beds were uncomfortably hard and the pillows so soft they flattened out. There isn't much in terms of lighting in the guest room either, just one really bright light.
Had a great time very relaxing
The view from our room was spectacular, the spa was good, staff was very friendly and helpful!
Food in the restaurant wasn't very good and if you just wanted coffee on your wait out the door it wasn't readily available! Very tiny coffee pots in the room and it was very strong! It's a small nit picky thing but I really love my coffee in the morning!
Staff were friendly and accommodating and everything felt relaxed and easy.
Staff was awesome!! To carrying our luggage upstairs, to directing us to a local and close beach, to rearranging things to allow us one more nights stay!! The view is wonderful from any area and the grounds are well groomed and so relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean and inviting to the views?
Only complaint would be the rocky beach area.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location near the ocean and near Courtenay was great.
People in the unit next to us had a heated screaming match all evening, disrupting our peace. The restaurant was overpriced. We had asked for a window seat (at the restaurant), had been assured we could have one but were denied that when we arrived.
meals and souveniers way to overpriced
I loved the spa services. I thought if was very well run with excellent customer service on every level. I also found the restaurant experiences were lovely.
I did not like booking & paying for an expensive suite & not having use if it for even 24 hours.
We loved the view of the grounds with all the beautiful flowers and trees and the view of ocean. The food was very good. Beds were comfortable. Staff was great. Very relaxing.
no halibut or salmon for dining
The view and wildlife around Large room with direct sea access Good food Great breakfast
Beautiful ocean view Comfortable beds
Spectacular view, food exceptional, location, staff amazing
No air conditioning
Fantastic setting and views. Very serene.
Wish I could have stayed longer w
Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The spa was relaxing and fun.
When we arrived we did not have toilet paper. Next morning we noticed that there was not a bath mat in the bathroom and there was a half eaten pizza in the fridge.
Beautiful waterfront setting
No privacy on the balcony
Beautiful gardens, spectacular ocean and mountain views, we stayed in the romance suites, end May before the summer rush, so still relatively quiet. Also enjoyed the spa, the Hydro mist was both unique and enjoyable. Everything was reasonably priced for Vancouver Island and the resort is in a good location to sight see around the Comox Valley Area
The views were amazing
The facilities are a bit dated
