The bathroom with the sink in the closet and no sink in the bathroom. Not a convenient situation. You had to leave the semi bathroom to wash your hands. The price with the parking made this a very expensive stay. Also the T.V.is very minimal compared to most hotels.
location comfort of room
We liked the location, we able to walk to many local stores etc. The room service food was great.
The bed was terrible, I woke up with a stiff neck and sore back. It made my next day shopping a little difficult for not able to move my neck. Still quite sore.
Location is very good for going from/to downtown. Many famous places were in a walking distance. The ground transportation from Pearson airport is also good. We used TTC through Kipling station and was good and took $3 and less than an hour.
If there was a refrigerator in the room, it was better.
We liked being downtown. The room was very clean & the staff very helpful.
I personally felt that there was a huge difference in the South Tower & The old North tower. We were in the North tower this time & the beds are old & thin mattresses. The air conditioning didn't work. The room was stifling hot & we could not cool it down. Whats up? How do you choose who goes to the North tower Or the Luxurious South.
Location Friendly staff Quick check in/out
Extremely dusty room (it was so bad it coated our throats with a dusty film), No refrigerator, Only one cup of complimentary coffee, when two people were booked, Odd furniture placement and room layout, Sorely in need of updating
location is very close to downtown
This hotel is old and needs a renovation, rooms very old looking, Our sink was not working and outside the washroom - down the hall - very inconvenient. would not stay again.
Very quiet hotel. Big rooms and comfortable bed
Room so big tv remote did not work from the bed. Had to get up to watch tv and change channels. Not very convenient but did not go away just to watch tv so would not prevent me from going back
A fair distance to the centre of Toronto
Cleanliness, restaurant and location.
Toilet seat would not stay up when raised. The shelf above it would not allow it. That bugged me.
Breakfast buffet was good. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good.
Only valet parking on site.
Location Staff Did offer me 1000 points for the inconvenience
Room was next to a ice machine Cold shower Would prefer glasses rather than plastic in the room
Spacious room. Friendly staff Good location
Clean, comfortable beds. Breckfast with yoghurt and muesli from Starbucks was perfect for us (we are from Europe). Maria Smit
Accommodations are mostly clean and comfortable. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is central to everything. Excellent view of Yonge Street which we like very much.
This last stay was disturbing and fell short of my usually excellent rating. The curtains in the room were almost falling off their support tracks in the ceiling. The handle on the patio door actually did fall off and had to be maneuvered back in place to use it. The rugs in hallways are starting to look worn and dirty. There was mold on the inside of the shower curtain in the room. This is the worst I have ever seen of the hotel. There was a domestic disturbance in a nearby room late at night that carried out into the hall, where a woman was pacing and saying, "Somebody help me." Security responded, but not quick enough. We were afraid to leave the room when this was happening.
location, free wifi, big room size
expensive parking even the self parking, expensive rate as the rooms need full renovation.
The heating/air conditioning unit was super quiet and effective, really appreciated it.
Bathroom was too cramped
Room was very clean - had a corner unit. Lots of room to check in, especially temporary parking. Good coffee bar. Quiet floor and no neighbor noises or mechanical noise. Street noise was moderate - room faced Yonge St.
Room was very small. Sink outside bath and commode area - weird layout. Window washers at 7:30 AM was our wake-up. Room was too warm in sun even with AC. Construction all over the area. Parking was one block away four floors up. Limited access to Yonge St. (entry was effectively behind the hotel off Yonge).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
the location was excellent: a block or two from the subway station, 24 hour Shoppers, convenient parking! and service was really good (front desk, valet guys, and room service).
the furnitures and fixtures were old but all worked fine. the AC/Heater unit was a bit weak but it was ok.
From check-in to check-out, staff were pleasant, professional and eager to assist. Our housekeeper on Saturday was especially kind and accommodating. Kudos to all.
I loved the fact that the valets were so accessible and helpful and took very good care of my new car!
I had to call for coffee for my in- room coffee maker twice.
Very nice lobby
The bathroom did not have a sink to wash your hands after using the toilet. There was no sink to shave or clean your teeth unless you wanted to stand in the bedroom. The air conditioner right next to the bed sounded like a tracked vehicle right next to your head. There was no bar fridge or kettle for those who like a cup of tea before going to bed. Which is understandable as there was no proper tea anyway. The wall of the bath and shower combo was mouldy at the joints. When I tried to let the staff know what I thought about the sanitary arrangements in the morning, the young lady tried to talk to me like an idiot and said that was how guests preferred it.
Had a good night's sleep
The view from the room
