Nice area to stay
ease of getting to metro
poor dinner recommendation, only one washer and dryer is insufficient for the size of your facility.
The hotel and staff were fantastic.... I could not have asked for anything more. The rooms, the food, the service - all fantastic. AND.. their bartender knows how to make an excellent martini!
When we booked it stated a room with a sofa bed which we did not get. We did not mention it because once in our room we did not want to move. Too exhausted!
The location is great, close to all the places we were looking for. All staff we're very helpful, pointing us to good restaurants, and places to go.
The Marriott Courtyard was in the downtown area.
Location is so convenient to chinatown and the Old Montreal, and to shopping. The staff were great. My group loved the big rooms.
Prices are more expensive than hotels in US, unfortunately. Canada is an expensive destination, even transports are dearer.
The service provided is horrible The personnel not professionel at all
Great place well located with helpful staff.
Front desk staff very professional went out of their way to satisfy our every request.
Good location, great gym with a view. Very close to China town.
$24.50a day for the parking, still somewhat of a good deal, since a lot of downtown hotels lack parking. Not really a first class restaurant on premises.
Cleanliness and new facilities.
Breakfast experience poor with long waiting times and not everything ordered arrived.
We need WIFI in the rooms
Parking and taxes
This hotel is conveniently located, close to Place des Arts and Old Montreal. Rooms are big and light. Good internet connection. Staff is friendly and helpful.
No breakfast buffet, but a la carte. Rooms on Boulevard Rene-Levesque side are a bit noisy.
Everything except what i didn't like. :) great experiance!
Traveled with a family. They had two children. We requested an extra bed, but when we got to the hotel there wasn't one available. That's fine, I slept in the same bed with the kids. A cot would have been nice Oh, and other then the pool there wasn't any books at the lobby that the children could actually read while they wait.
I like the fact when I get out of the taxi I was immediately taking care. I was also accommodated as soon as possible even though I arrive 3 hours earlier.
The room was immaculate, the staff very helpful, friendly and efficient and the atmosphere welcoming. The location is very central and in easy walking distance to anywhere that matters.
The only thing I did not like was the shower stall which - although nice and large - had a very slippery floor and I was afraid of falling. It needs either a mat or strips.
We loved everything about this hotel from location [5 blocks from Central Train station-a very easy DOWN HILL walk and right in the center if all things Montréal]; to check-in - the agent reminded me I was a Marriott member and gave us vouchers for free breakfast]; TO ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR KING CORNER ROOM; to excellent on-site restaurant; to gracious front desk and concierge helpful suggestions-- in short WE LOVED IT ALL
If you don't like this hotel, I would respectfully suggest that you stay home.
Staff were all extremely helpful and courteous. Location was reasonably convenient
Location and convenience! Facilities and cleanliness.
room size, not comfortable.
loved the service people were kind and accommodating. All facilities and room service was clean
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Loved the restaurant staff, front desk staff, maintenance etc. The concierge was excellent and extremely helpful suggesting places to meet our needs and making reservations for us. The restaurant allowed me to bring utensils and dishes to my room so I could have an occasional bowl of cereal in the room. Bed was made daily and floor vacuumed.
I did not like the housekeeping situation. Our first night was excellent - towels replenished, pool and bath, bed made etc. The rest of the week, we were lucky to have our pool towels replaced, sometimes didn't get regular bath towels or cloths. One day our garbage was emptied but the bag was left on our desk and on the small table in the middle of the room was the remainder of somebody's lunch that ate in the room while we were out. Twice I was left new mugs but they were dirty inside. They didn't even change/empty the ice bucket to give me a new bag.
