high ceilings large room fireplace Jacuzzi tub shower head comfy inviting bed décor robes large storage area corner room, lots of natural light - because we were celebrating our anniversary, choc covered strawberries and other snacks were brought to our room!
The breakfast that was included was too limited in choice. Having to pay for a second cup of coffee was also ridiculous.
next door to the theatre that we were going to
booking online sucked, when browsing on my own found a different rate for the same room, now I have to mail in a copy of my receipt to get the difference back. shouldn't have to do all this, should have been done automatically when I called in and questioned the fact.
Loved that it was walking distance to the Market.
The breakfast is the bistro was just ok. Next time we'd eat at the market instead.
When we booked our stay I requested a bathtub. We were not able to bring this to their attention once we got into the room, so that was our fault. When we were leaving I asked why we were not given the room with the tub, was told that was just the way it works, some get a tub and some don't. Not such a great answer!
The decor was very nice. Room was very accommodating. I would however change the included breakfast like we had in kincardine at the holiday express where everything was included as a free breakfast including ham, eggs both scrambled and hard boiled, sausage, bagels, pancake maker, toast, coffee and tea etc. Really a full breakfast included in their price which by the way was cheaper by $25.00 per night and we had a two bedroom, two queen size beds and a pull out couch as well as two 42" TV's, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. It also had a pool, hot tub, weight room. It's decor was not quite as lavishly done as yours, but their amenities exceeded the Marriot by far. The convenience the Marriott had to the market is appreciated but to other amenities not so much. In all, both places were very accommodating to us, but if I had my choice I would review and consider the Holiday Inn just down the street as it was initially our first choice but was full at the time of booking. Either way we would not hesitate to stay at the Marriott again and go over to the market and outlet malls again in the near future. A discount card would just make that possibly happen sooner than later in the near future. Thanks for your hospitality.
See above. ..
was quiet and staff was very friendly.
It was a little pricey .
No pool or hot tub
Close to market and shopping. The bed was very very comfy. Great facility for short stay.
No continental breakfast and the room coffee was horrible. Felt that the marketing fee should've been made know up front and not one of those "surprise" extras.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. A good place to stay! Joan
The room is very clean and decor is excellent. They even included a microwave oven in the room too.
Extra charge called "Direct Marketing Fee" ? The cleaning staff starts to vacuum rooms at 8 in the morning and the sound insulation is poor from the door. When the door is closed you can still see the lights seeping through all around it (not just the bottom of it as usual) so you know that it is not insulated properly.
Lovely fireplace, corner unit with large windows, big tv, comfortable bed, iHOME dock clock radio, quiet and clean.
Extremely small kitchenette, but probably average. We could not use the in room tub because the bottom was peeling - icky!!!!
We asked for a change of room because it didn't have a bath tub. The young woman at the front desk gave us an upgrade at know extra charge, it was perfect. Thank you.
Load noices from The heater. We vake upp every time egen it started.
Very confusing. Our confirmation stated our breakfast was included but we had to go to two staff members to get an ok. Also a bit misleading as to free appetizers from 5-7 p.m. Only one available.
