Very kind and efficient staff, e.g. I had problem with the WC in my bathroom and a technician was sent in 5 minutes; I needed a plug adaptor EU/US and they lent me one immediately, something I couldn't get in a 5 star hotel in Washington). Very good location close to public transport and the commercial/business centres. Confortable and ample suite (living room with small fridge plus a sleeping room). Reasonable quality/prive relationship compared to similar hotels in the same area. No "free" wi-fi in the rooms (at present it is only available in the lobby and the cafeteria). However, there are plans to make it fully available by mid 2011. Air conditining too high in the corridors of the hotel floors and the common spaces. Not very nice views (least from the room I was given). Although I had requested in my Booking form a room with a view to the Vancouver harbour I was told that my rate (259 $ a night!) didn't allow that. However, I spent a whole weekend there and there were not too many people. I think it would have been a nice detail.....

A person in the room next to me used the bathroom ar around 5am. The noise woke me up. If noise insulation between rooms coule be improved that would be welcome.

I loved the hotel, location, services and comfort. Would definetly return to the hotel. I booked on the internet and found a special price which I couldn't resist. Was staying at another hotel the previous night and had to switch when I say what was offered.

It is a lovely hotel with nice bedding, good firm beds. I liked the warm cookies offered at arrival. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and most helpful. Daniel, who parked our van and brought up our luggage was exceptional. My husband is handicapped and we needed extra help with a walker, luggage, etc. and Daniel was very kind and considerate. The location is close to shopping but also fairly close to a less desirable part of the city. The parking fee is high as well as having to pay for internet.

The suite was large, which was nice as I was there for 5 days on business. The location is good, especially convenient to the SkyTrain and SeaBus. It's a quiet area at night, but I knew that already. It should be clearer that you enter off Seymour, especially for solo travellers arriving at night.

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. I believe the word "suite" in describing our room (910) was misleading. A suite to mesuggests a separate bedroom, kitchen facilities and a comfortable seating area for at least two people. This was not the case. I believe rooms need to be described more accurately.

The staff from the moment we pulled up were extremely professional and courteous. My boyfriend and I were both overwhelmed with how helpful the staff were, from food recommendations to offering us an umbrella and always opening doors. We definitely would stay here again.
