Loved the location, and the experience. The bar was great. The front staff were very accommodating. The room was bigger than expected and very close to a number of hot-spots!
We ran in the mornings along the seawall (very close) and each time we arrived back at the room, it was in the middle of being cleaned. This was a bit annoying. Also the Wi-fi was incredibly inconsistent and only worked in the bedroom, not the living room.
Comfy Beds Clean Friendly Walking distance to Rogers Arena, Shopping and Bars
Parking is hard work.
After cruising for seven nights it was so relaxing to be in a suite so large with room to move. The view from the balcony was fantastic. Also Jennifer on the front desk was so welcoming and friendly. After talking to her for a few minutes we felt like we were talking to a long time friend. Highly recommend the signature suite.
Good location and friendly staff. Secure parking.
Nice room, super bathroom, location perfect for using downtown transportation and centrally located. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice club level amenity.
Heavy duvet cover, too hot with it, too cold without it. Need light blanket in summer.
- Polite staff - Quiet rooms - Decent view - Very helpful. Our room wasn't ready yet but they stored our bags and made suggestions of things to do, places to eat while we waited.
Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Clean and comfortable rooms, very convenient location.
Location Rooms Staff Parking Wifi
The Delta Hotel was was a last minute decision when we arrived in Vancouver. The on line booking had great descriptions of the rooms available and the completion of the booking was easy and very fast, the location was also awesome as we wanted to see as much of the city as possible and this place put us right in the middle. The view from the room was also a plus, looking out over the inlet.
We were woke up early on our first morning by house keeping (9:00am) they were already coming in to clean. After that we made sure the do not disturb sign was up. The parking was very expensive and at check out all the extra charges and taxes made any deal on the room a mute point so the cost per night was high for what was given. A more straight forward price advertised would be better than letting someone think they are getting a great deal then getting hit with a bunch of hidden charges.
The room spacious and clean. Bathroom amenities well stocked and well maintained.
Wonderfully helpful and accommodating staff. The room was spacious and of a very high standard. If recommend this hotel to anyone.
The fact it was a suite so we were able to separate from the kids in the evening once they needed to sleep. The location is very central- straight off the sky train from the airport and just one blocks walk. Close to Seamus, buses etc, gastown, Granville etc. Staff were very helpful.
The decor was a little dated and the views were of car parks and air conditioning ducts. It wasn't a big problem as we were either out or sleeping off the jetlag. Overall comfortable.
Location was great, within walking distance to waterfront.
Parking was terrible. Access was difficult at night and safety was an issue. Expensive for what you get.
Very professional staff. Good location for Gastown and Canada Place.
Very tired facility. Over priced for facility with holes in upholstery in lobby and rooms and carpet stains in room. Mediocre Signature Club breakfast.
everything - great location in walking distance to everything and close to the train station. Beds were amazingly comfortable and good soundproofing.
From the moment you book in the staff make you feel very welcome. The staff have great I knowledge of tours, where to dine, Vancouver's best places to see. We paid the extra to be at the top and loved the breakfasts and the option of having a drink and appetisers in the evening. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed.
Near the cruise terminal Canada Place as we were going on a cruise and city centre.
Location was nice. Friendly and helpful employees!
Way too expensive for what you actually get. The Delta is not that new, nor were the furnishings. Internet should always be included with the price of the rooms! This is 2014, not 1990.
The attention to detail was impressive. The attendant at the Signature Club, Sancha, at breakfast, made our day. Such genuine kindness and attention. You could tell she took great pride in her position and responsibilities. All the staff was superb.
If I had to be really picky, the coffee could have been better, and we're Starbucks people. Otherwise everything was outstanding.
Location was great for seeing Vancouver as a tourist. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with good knowledge of what to see and how to get there. We enjoyed being part of the privilege club, the access to the lounge on the 21st floor was great. The rooms, we'd stayed on two separate occasions, were very comfortable.
Suite was very nice.
No convenient complimentary morning coffee, such as other hotels of this quality offer.
Great location, very comfortable rooms with lots of space.
The staff were dispossessed of any kind of can-do attitude. When we tried to book an extra night, it took the desk clerk 10 minutes to find us in the system. When we asked about parking a car we had rented during our stay, we got a convoluted answer about valet versus self-park, and were quoted a rate that was not consistent with that advertised on the hotel website. When we asked for clarification of this, the front-desk staff rudely implied that we were making this up. She checked the website, and then told us that we had booked the room under the wrong code. Though some staff were most courteous and friendly, the service was mostly without any kind of graciousness, and one got the impression that they seemed unhappy working there.
Room and hotel were clean and staff was nice room service was very quick, and the food was very tasty
Location, when walking back to the hotel. The area is a bit scary
The location was good, the room good and breakfast included.
The aircon was a bit noisy
