beds were comfortable
renovations were under way , parking was limited due to construction machines. doors to the rooms need to be oiled they were incrediably squeeky in and around room 214
They provided other tourists with key cards that could open our hotel room, in short they gave the same room that we were using to other people! We were sleeping and those people were able to open our room!
Good beds, good location, good value.
position was convenient for our needs, room was quite big and comfortable
Noisy road but unavoidable .Noisy people overhead .Otherwise ok
Out of the city centre so easy to drive to but near to bus stop (20 min to downtown). Room was modern, clean, very quiet and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was more than adequate for our simple needs, newspaper supplied. Plenty of parking, a basic workout room and a lift that responded quicker than most. A good supermarket about a mile down the road. Park with riverside cycleway/walkway across the road. Reasonably priced guest laundry. Staff went out of their way to provide printed instructions for getting around town, getting to and from the Stampede grounds, bus and Ctrain timetables, etc. Very good value especially considering it was Stampede week
Cleanliness, use of kitchen facilities, great breakfast with lots of choices, AC, staff were really nice.
Would of been nice to have a night table on each side of the bed.
Amazingly comfortable pillows and beds. I am hunting for these same pillows for myself.
Breakfast was not very good, but it was acceptable
Noisy on roof at8 am
Location and Breakfast
Slamming of doors in the morning from guests!
noisy corriders and halls at night. Poor selections for breakfast. Check out the Hampton's breakfast. No pool or hot tub
It was really close to the Foothills hospital.
The outside of the building was under construction.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the "dining room" area was very nice as was the complementary newspaper. The room was great and the staff allowed us to have both an early check-in and a late check-out. The room was clean and attractive.
The area wasn't the nicest and we were a bit concerned about leaving our car downstairs in the parking lot.
The beds were very comfortable.
The price was ridiculously high at $164 or so and they wouldn't budge on the price although all the other hotels did. Rooms were very, very small.
Apples in the reception, I have basic needs. Friendly and helpful staff, newly renovated and clean rooms. Free parking on site and wifi everywhere. The security system was reassuring though no safe boxes were available in the room.
Location is good if you intend to visit Banff but is away from downtown though not far. Breakfast is basic and invariable. There is literally nothing fancy about this place but it is convenient if you have business in town.
If you're looking for room service or breakfast in bed, this is not your place. The staff were all nice and friendly. Rooms were all clean, renovated recently, and cosy. Staying in Calgary needs a car and the free parking was a plus. We stayed with our small dog and he was well received despite the somewhat expensive cover charge though we were informed about that upon reservation.
Breakfast was included in my room rate but it wasn't a thing to remember this hotel with. Corridors were noisy at times. It isn't too close but not too far to downtown Calgary. There weren't many hotel in-room supplies but I think that's the model of this hospitality franchise.
Quiet room. Clean. Small but felt luxurious. I was worried it would be noisy, but my room faced the rear. No problems.
Super friendly staff
Some electrical outlets in my room did not work
Friendly staff. Convenient for quick getaway to Banff. Lovely park across the road to get some exercise following long flight. Restaurants a short drive away. Safeway supermarket down the road for buying supplies.
Rooms on the front are very noisy and need better sound proofing. Insist on a room away from the road.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfeast is very good.
I think that the price was a little high.
Rooms were lovely, shower was nice in particular.
The walls were so thin that we could here the entire conversation next door and in the hallway. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this one has the poorest noise suppression I've ever encountered. We would not stay here again for this reason. If you are a heavy sleeper or wear earplugs then you should be okay.
The room cleanliness was pretty good. And the room was cleaned on a daily basis.
When I originally contacted this hotel prior to staying to advise them I would like to purchase a later checkout due to my flight not leaving til later and not having transportation around they advised me this was not an option. However while I was checking myself out, I was asked if I needed a later checkout. This caused a huge Inconveinance to myself.
Very noisy, no sleep, parking lot was jammed in beside a cement pillar, turned too far one side to avoid hitting vehicle beside me and dented the side of my vehicle, told manager and not even a bit of a discount or anything....previous day told them about noise levels and manager went I to as peach about, it's your world and my world and we have to share the world?? What? Never again
