The women who were tending the breakfast counter were excellent. We stayed two nights. I am temporarily disabled. Each morning, I was taken such good care of! The first morning, the woman even escorted me to the bathroom and opened the doors for me when I asked for directions to the bathroom. Also, the swimming pool was a wonderful temperature. We enjoyed our swim a lot.
1. Registration on-line was not communicated to the hotel. When I showed the document which verified my registration with the price quoted, hotel management still tried to charge me a higher rate. 2. Shower was cold. I reported the problem to the front desk and was told they would have somebody fix it at noon. Nobody came and we were then told that there is nobody available on Sunday. Finally we were moved to another room. We wasted most of our day because of this. No offer was made to compensate for this inconvenience. I had to indicate my concern and finally was given a free stay at some future date.
Comfortable & inviting layout of room
beds far too narrow for couples
Friendly Staff and Helpful
Good location to Stampede Park. C train is brilliant. Cory at the bar is great fun. Reception staff are very helpful. Breakfast staff are very helpful, in particular the lady from Iran. Bar food in the evening is excellant
Only think I feel the hotel needs is to replace the pillow case's and sheets, not because they are dirty, they are just dated. Also the Air con is quite loud when it comes on, even in the LO position
Good value and location. Staff was friendly.
Restauran food was not good for the prices. The elevator banged like a jack hammer so we avoided it. Temperature in room was difficult to regulate and there were no windows that opened.
Heating system big noisy..
Was close to the saddle dome
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was so loud (possibly an old furnace) that we were unable to sleep that night. It felt like the was were vibrating! We asked for cot when I originally booked the room as well as when we arrived. I asked three times and we finally got the cot on the second day of our stay. I told the staff of how loud the rokm was and they moved us to different room. The room was really big, which was nice, but the carpet was stained a lot and it took about 10 minutes of running the water before it got warm enough to use. Our rooms were in the old section of the motel which had no elevator! This made bringing in suitcases for 5 people very difficult since we had to go up few sets of stairs.
5 min C Train ride to Scotiabank Saddledome. Cheap.
Dirty old cramped room. Paper thin walls. Loud people partying all night. Drunk people knocking on our room numerous times during the night. Worst sleep ever!
Lobby was clean
Elevator made terrible noises, scared everyone each time we were on it. Blower fan in room seemed to come on every 10 minutes and blew air on us while we were sleeping, first it was cold until the heater warmed up, then it was hot. Sound proofing in walls was terrible. Could hear all conversations and traffic in the hall way while we were trying to sleep.
Nothing, rooms are very dirty & stinky. Elevator is very old .. Place is not at all maintain. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
I will never stay at any days Inn ever again
Good location, close to mall, and c-train and right beside a Tim hortans. Staff were helpful finding places.
Beds were a tad hard
Don't like the blanket, it's not comfortable to use.
Room was cold and no heating..
Good value, clean rooms, good location, and close proximity to the train station.
The staff responsible for the continental breakfast were helpful and friendly
partying happening in the next room made for no sleep. Staff did address the issue after we told them about it twice. Arguing in the hallway, slamming of doors on the 4th floor until 5am and no staff member saw or heard anything.!?? Who is monitoring the security cameras?? Alcohol bottle in the hallway. Will not stay here again.
I like the room was spacious lots of room clean av was on room was not hot
We got into the room and it smelt moldy we had to print our work orders in the buesnes lounge and the printer does not work went to the front desk and that said it was broken the manager was not their to help
The location was convenient to our agenda for the weekend. The beds were clean. The fellow who checked us out was very nice.
The elevator was broken as a disabled person that was very difficult. The room was shabby. Fabrics were worn through on the furniture. The tv didn't work. It took a good 10 minutes to get hot water to run. The carpets were stained. The plug on the bathroom sink broke and could not be drained until I crawled under it to fix it. The extra pillows I requested when I booked the room were not provided. Shabby is the word I would use to describe your hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy to find. The one restaurant that was open had friendly staff and good food and service.
Parking lot under construction and hard to access . Listed a place to eat in the hotel information that had been closed down.
Good bed, decent location.
The elevator was out of commission, we had cigarette smoke from another room coming in through our bathroom vent and there are very limited restaurant facilities. Overall poor valve for money.
Staff very helpful
Staff were friendly, beds were good quality, rooms were a good size for a good price.
Throughout our stay we needed to use the business centre but the computers didn't work, printer didn't work, also the elevator didn't work for most of the stay and the dryer in the laundry didn't work either!
Friendly and helpful staff Good restaurants and close to down-town Comfortable and spacious suite room Great pool and hot tub Very welcoming front foyer Love that the Days Inn is pet friendly
The hotel was full during our week stay, but it was relatively quiet. The breakfast bar was good, but due to all the sport teams staying at the hotel, we didn't get to it often (very long line-ups). On day three of our stay, our room was not made up for some reason. This was disappointing after a long day dealing with our home builder and lawyer. The heater in our room did not work well and had to ask front desk staff to assist. He was a very friendly fellow and happy to help, but due to the high volume of customers (sport teams again), he forgot about us. Frozen to the bone, I had to go to the front desk to remind him. He was apologetic, and helped us right away. He was able to troubleshoot the problem heater and all was well for the rest of our stay. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant room service. The beds were fairly comfortable and the size of the suite was perfect for our family of four. The bathroom however was far too small and hard to move in. It seems to be in need of a renovation and expansion. I had asked for four towels as initially there were only three. We never received a fourth towel for the whole week from housekeeping. We did ask. I just wanted to mention as well, I did notice the heater casing was rather dirty and needed a good cleaning. Not a big deal, but to some this may be upsetting. I am aware that the Days Inn is undergoing construction on their parking lot and improvements are fantastic. The problem I had was an extremely full hotel and no available parking on two nights during our stay. One night I found parking elsewhere. The second night, I was forced to park underneath as I found one solitary spot. I had a difficult time getting my vehicle into the spot due to large cement pillars and large construction company trucks taking up more than their space. I ended up breaking my driver's side mirror after several tries. I did get into the space finally, but was furious!!
