The spacious room was nice.
The carpark was too dark and too open to the public, felt unsecure.
Very good location !!
No issues :-)
Breakfast...very clean, good selection, friendly staff
pool, hot tub too hot! pool too cold!
I liked the location, it's very close to downtown Calgary and easy to get to the downtown area. A Tim Horton's outlet was right next door which makes it quicker than brewing a cup in the morning.
It has only one elevator, so occasionally there might be a lengthy wait.
They booked us in a wing with no elevator
restaurant was good.
The fitness equipment has broken cables and does not operate. Hotel and rooms seems dark and tired.
The rooms are nice! And the desk staff was friendly and professional
Few things, the shampoo bottles were half empty and obviously not replaced, but still set up. The bath tub plug didn't hold water. Not that I wanted a bath or shower after seeing the attention given to the shampoo bottles. Wifi wasn't working. And the dude that delivered the room service was weirdly flirty, to an awkward point. At least as a young solo female guest. I said "smells good" and he said "is that me or the food" and on and on... I also tried maybe ten times to reach the front desk from my room with just a busy signal. It was weird and disappointing.
the beds are super comfy
The hotel was difficult to find as we didn't know it was downtown. The staff were very friendly. The wifi was not accessible while we were there
Cleaning staff were very efficient. Close to rail-line. Close to mall.
Very boring breakfast.Too basic! Hotel kept on changing WiFi code without informing the guests. Had to keep chasing them for the code. Treadmill kept on breaking down.
Nice hotel, clean and the staff were friendly
There was a power outage for a number of hours that was beyond their control but they did nothing to notify me of the problem. It took 3 phone calls to get my bill e-mailed to me 4 or 5 days later
Nice big room.
The cleaning staff kept taking our towels that were hung up, like they asked us to do, and then didn't leave any towels. Had to keep going to the desk to get towels.
parking chest hairs on sheets broken chair $200 damage deposit…good indication of slumsville
I did not like the staff attitude, because I approached reception first and asked for a room and I was told there is none .Then I went through booking.com and there it was.I booked a room and the reasoning of staff for this matter was not satisfactory.
Close to transit system, close to shopping and schools
The amount of trash that was in the halls and surrounding the building was disgusting. My room was looking out into the alley with a bunch of dumpsters.
Not much. Employees were fairly helpful.
Awful location for auto access, limited parking near dumpsters in back alley. 1 elevator . Walls are like paper between rooms. Breakfast voucher is not worth the paper it is printed on.
Bathroom was small, the door was constantly in the way regardless if it was open or closed and the quality of repair work was of very low quality. Quick patch jobs
No hot water to shower!!!
They change the WiFi password each day . We were not informed of this at check-in. The following morning we were unable to connect and had to contact the front desk;
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The salt water pool was very good and the hot tub was good. The staff was excellent. They were very accommodating and pleasant. There were 7 of us renting 3 rooms and we were allowed to store some luggage with the hotel while we went to Banff until our return 3 days later.
The only thing I didn't like was the rooms with 2 queen size beds were on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. This was inconvenient since I walk with a cane. We were offered rooms with double beds which were accessible by elevator but we wanted the bigger beds. I feel this information should have been available in their ad.
I had to wait for 20 minutes in line because there are only 2 computers at the concierge desk
Perfect accomodation, nice breakfast..would recomend to my friends...
Staff was nice and helpful.
Very old rooms and hallways that really needs renovations.
Problem with parking space
Very friendly staff, clean and in a good area. Has a bit of construction going on nearby but it's only a ten minute taxi drive into downtown. Would definitely recommend others going there, the rates were extremely reasonable.
