Close to university.
Mattress very hard-not good for arthritic hips. 2nd was better but was used by Other person.
Breakfast included close to where we needed to go
Location is great for our needs.
Rooms are dark and dated.
Days Inn Guelph was easy to find, had a friendly helpful staff; the lobby, hallway, and room very clean.
Queen bed should have been KING SIZE bed, room too big for one queen size bed. It made impression that the bed was only a double!
Loves the beds, the hotel is super clean and the staff are very friendly. I enjoy my stay each time I come out here
No mini fridge or microwave in the room :(
We liked most everything, beds were good, showers were great, nothing to complain about cleanliness
We did not like the breakfast, there was no yogurt, fruit and basic scrambled eggs. Also there was only 1 TV channel available in our room
Room very large and clean...had problem with tv in original room and young lady at front desk came to see if she could help and finally we moved into another room. She was very pleasant and helpful
We thought the bath tub looked like it needed a good scrub...soap scum
Spacious room. The free adds on.
The breakfast should be better than that.
Good for parents going to admit children in UOG. Easy access . Staff very cooperative.
Breakfast can definitely be made more interesting.eg croissants, eggs, added.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, location god
Time to get carpets replaced
Clean and comfortable rooms
Breakfast was very simple, expected more
The room was comfortable but that was about it, certainly NOT worth the money that was charged.
Their was No where for a drink or any snacks or any food. The only services that was being offered each day was a very poor breakfast, choice wise between 6am and 10am and that was the only service within the place each day. Never stayed in a place before with such poor services.
The size of the room. The location. The fridge.
The pillows are too soft! The bottom sheet never stays tucked in. The lighting is very poor; it is impossible to read by, especially if you like to read in bed before sleeping. Towel quality is poor; too thin.
Reasonably priced clean and comortable accommodation.
Breakfast serving area to small and often crowded. Choice of food limited.
cleanliness, simple comfort, friendly staff, location, homey
No fridge or microwave in the room we had second night.
Location was very important we were off the main street but close to everything. Double Queen Room was very clean and beds were comfortable.
Beds were good. White linens and clean and comfortable.
Everyone was at the breakfast area at once. No room to sit very cramped. Very ugly pillows and old run down couch in the lobby. Time to change that. Gives a bad first impression.
Not much to say except everything at the Days Inn was met or exceeded my expectations.
The room was big, but there were not freezer or microwave.
Some guests made some noise during the night and it was boring.
very nice hotel, great location, nice staff and very comfy beds :)
that there was no swimming pool :(
The TV worked.
Housekeeping "forgot" to clean our room. The continental breakfast was a joke - the toaster (the kind with a track on which the bagel or bread rolls through) burned everything. Complaints were met with "sorry, we don't know how to adjust the toaster. So happened the manager was in line for coffee at breakfast (I did not know she was the manager at the time) and I noticed she had her own ceramic mug instead of using the dixie cup sized cups that were available. I commented on how smart she was to bring her own cup since the available cups were so small and she only shrugged. Later I saw her in working in the Manager's office. My room only had coffee and no tea. When i requested the front desk for a tea bag (perhaps from the continental breakfast supply) I was denied - you are not allowed to have that. No spare pillow or blanket available in the room. Air conditioner was extremely loud. For $135/night in a town like Guelph - we certainly did not get our money's worth. Instead it felt like we were staying at a hotel that was on the verge of going out of business for lack of money. We ended up going home a day early and lost the last day's pre-paid money rather than stay another night.
Very clean, pleasant and helpful staff. Room was very clean.
Far from downtown area Purpose of the stay was to go to the Hill Side music festival on Guelph Lake, the hotels in the area should have organized a shuttle to the festival for their guests.
The front desk staff, especialey sat eve, Aug,16th
Walking up all those steps,as we were 4 seniors.
