Good sized room and clean. Good walking distance to the Old Port of Montreal, restaurants, and metro stations.

Our window was facing the wall of another building and we had no view, even though we were on the top floor.

I liked the accessibility to Vieux Montreal...the hotel is located conveniently within walking distance to most of the sites anyone would want to see in Old Town Montreal, as well as close to the subway, which we took to shop in the underground markets. The little pub is also a great place to relax and it was nice to sit outside there and just watch the world go by. It's on a busy street so there's lots of activity. We had a room on the 6th floor so it was also very quiet.

this is a great budget hotel. Needs an update on decor and staff didn't seem too happy that we weren't fluent in english but it's in a great location and the valet was awesome. The cleanliness was decent and the best part was it's location. Close to the shops on saint catherine, clubs on Crescent and very close to Old Montreal

The decor is outdated by 20 years and carpets need to be changed

The front desk staff was ready to speak in English or French as needed, gave helpful recommendations and were very friendly.

Bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived.

Staff were EXCELLENT. We had a problem with young hooligans partying loudly in the next room. When we told reception, they were quick to handle the situation. The bartender also gave us a bottle opener and 3 glasses from the bar to bring up to our room to drink wine. Room was very clean, fairly spacious. Hotel was very well located, everything was within walking distance.

Decor in both the room, bathroom and lobby were very dated and slightly depressing. It could use some refurbishment. Although the room was spotless, the carpet in the elevator was filthy.

The location for the Hotel was good. It was close to downtown.

It's pretty bad in cleanliness. The room that was originally given to us (617) had bed bugs and cigarette buds even though we asked for non smoking room. After complaining they changed the room, but the other had same cleanliness issue. We could not sleep all night thinking about the bed bugs. This hotel made me bad taste for the Days Inn. Hall way smelt smoke and the sitting area had no enough space. How could this hotel be rated 3 star....?

Days Inn Montreal Downtown was perfect for our trip: the location was very close to everything touristy, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable, the free wifi service was excellent and we appreciated the air conditioning during the heatwave. The tv and fridge were much appreciated as well. The airport bus stops just outside the door. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. It was close to restaurants, shopping centers and bus/subway station.

Room basic buy clean, good location and handy for Metro underground system.

The hotel staff were unfriendly, two of the female day staff could barely be bothered to make eye contact, one male staff on evening/night duty was much friendlier.

Great location for touring Montreal. We parked our car and didn't move it until we checked-out. All the major Montreal attractions are located within a an easy 20-30 minute walk. Although we didn't use the transit syatem, it appeared to be very extensive and affordable. The hotel was well maintained and the valet parking (which included all-day, in- and- out) was a "reasonable" $20/day. It has a dining room/bar with not too expensive prices, but with all the eating choices within a few minutes walk of the hotet, we never tried the hotel restaurant. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the heart of Montreal at a reasonable price, I recommend this hotel.
