Location Good value Helpful staff
Not much parking available
Not clean at all. In red light district
The room was clean and comformtable, and the receptionists were highly professional
I think for an eight-floor hotel, two elevators are not enough
I had somewhat low expectations but my weekend stay while on business went well enough. Staff was a little distant but never rude.
Location- in front of hospital for ongoing treatment
Having to check out even though I had two nights booked
Pillow case had dark spot and pillow looked dirty, had dark strip at pillow side, worried about the hygiene.
Great location and not too expensive. Friendly and accommodating front desk staff. Comfortable beds.
On site parking is limited - only 22 spots for whole hotel. Rooms are really old and smell dank. Not even a full length mirror in the room. Bathrooms are old and ugly. Not enough towels for 2 people in a double room. Cleaning staff vaccumed hallways at 9:30am on a Saturday. Room wasn't made up one of the days.
The manager at the front desk was excellent.
The pillows are as old as the hotel, housekeeping staff is not available after 5:00 p.m., parking is extremely limited and costs $23. The hotel shower head did not work properly. Overall this hotel needs a major overhaul.
Location and staff were great.
The tub didn't drain as you showered. The hair dryer was also a fire hazard, as when I plugged it in it sparked! The plug was rusted and broken - something that should have been noticed.
Breakfast was suppose to be included but it wasn't. Wayyyy to expensive for no added features.
Staff treated us well and super pleasant to deal with.. Room was beautiful and as we asked for.. I will stay there again.. Close to everything and again, very clean and comfortable accommodation..
Was perfect! No complaints!!
Small rooms, no pool or workout room, overpriced in my opinion
Polish waiter next door at the restore-bar. He made our day
Room was musty smell, wallpaper coming away from wall, trash in hall and elevator, little or no parking at hotel, tv channels not programmed on tv,
parking at Holiday Inn
The location was very convenient. Can walk to the old city, St. Denis and the Jazz Festival. Sheets were clean.
We found gum stuck to the carpet. Had to borrow vacuum from the hotel maid to clean the carpet. Some corners probably have not been cleaned for ages. The edge of the TV cabinet was greasy. Fridge leaked black fluid onto the base of cabinet. Toilet lid was dirty. Will never stay there again even it is at a very convenient location.
Old,needs updating,pillows uncomfortable,musty smell (from old carpet?)
Poor Service at Front Desk Receptionist was curte and unwilling to assist with problems Parking was around the block underground at the University air conditionning didn't work and there were no other rooms available or on site maintenance to repair
The hotel was in a convenient location. Close to rue Ste Catherine and Old Port Montreal. We were lucky to find street parking as our vehicle didn't fit in the underground (too high). Kuerig coffee maker was nice. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed 3 nights. On the morning after our first night, I left a tip and a note for the maid to leave extra towels. She took the note and the cash but didn't leave any towels. My husband had a coffee in the morning and used 1 Kuerig cup, (I didn't feel like a coffee that morning) the maid didn't bother replacing it, so the next morning only one of us could have coffee. There was no information in the room about the hotel and check out procedures. I still don't know where the ice machine is or if the hotel has any vending machines. Most hotels have self check out.
Not enough parking spots Very rude staff
Free and fast wifi
parking was not reserved. my space was taken when I returned
Close to old Montreal
Had to run cold water for 5 to 10 mins as it was too hot to shower when tapped first turned on.
Location was perfect to explore downtown.
