Bartender was very good for an after the business day cocktail and to provide suggestions on places to eat. Smells like "Carpet Fresh" powder.

The staff were very helpful and friendly on the front desk and were able to guide us to the places and sites around the town. When a problem in the room did occur E.g shower not working properly it was fixed promptly. The breakfast in the hotel was very good and it was a reasonable price. We would stay at this hotel again as the location was near to both down town shopping and The Old Town of Montreal.

The room is large and comfortable. The hotel is located right on the downtown, near the Old Montreal. The staff was polite but not much. The parking is very expensive (20$ per day). The breakfast is expensive for the quality (10$ per person). We have been annoyed by the noise of nearby rooms.

Allegro, the restaurant associated with this Day's Inn has an extraordinary manager/bartender name of Sam. He is off Sundays but otherwise don't miss meeting this man. The food is good, the drinks the best in Montreal, his wit is charming.

The downtown location is the main attraction. The facilities are no frills, but adequate for my purposes (I was attending a conference at the convention center in Montreal). Free wi-fi also The bathroom, while clean, seemed a little old. And the "valet" parking stops at 11pm - and the parking is in an open lot, not in a garage.

We not only booked this hotel for location but for price as well. We arrived at the hotel mid evening and were pleased to be able to get dinner in the restaurant/bar. It was also open early in the morning and the food and staff were good, and we enjoyed being able to eat lunch outside. The desk staff were also helpful with directions. So many things within walking distance e.g. Old Town, shopping, Notre Dame Basilica, Chinatown, and the bus depot to name a few.

this is a great budget hotel. Needs an update on decor and staff didn't seem too happy that we weren't fluent in english but it's in a great location and the valet was awesome. The cleanliness was decent and the best part was it's location. Close to the shops on saint catherine, clubs on Crescent and very close to Old Montreal The decor is outdated by 20 years and carpets need to be changed

Decent room, larger than most and situated within 5 minutes of the old part of Montreal. Not sure why the hotel uses valet parking when the parking lot is directly behind the hotel. However, the valet staff was very quick and friendly.

The hotel was just okay, it served the purpose and was nothing special. The breakfast which was extra was very good. The hotel looks nothing like the brochure. The hotel in the picture seems quite elegant which may have been the case many years ago. The price is listed at $400 reduced to $107. This never was a $400 a night hotel. This missrepresentation was annoying. I'd have preferred to park my own car not have to use a valet.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the food and service in the restaurant were both very good. It was a short walk to the Metro station. The front desk staff were not extremely friendly and welcoming except for the staff member who checked us out - he was extremely helpful and nice.

The front desk staff was ready to speak in English or French as needed, gave helpful recommendations and were very friendly. Bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived.
