Good, clean, close to the Hunt Club
Ancient TV did not work
Location for us. Clean, friendly, quiet , spacious having a king bed, wi fi is okay.
Coffee maker does not work and really failed us a couple of times only.
The staff were super helpful and nice.
Far from downtown old, small rooms; ratty look
Room was only partially clean Bathroom was dirty and Kleenex dispenser was empty Hallways dark and dingy and smelled musty I had to call the hotel for something and the phone rang 10 + times. Clerk was outside having a cigarette and no one was at desk... this happened twice. I am thankful we only needed to stay one night. Cleanliness needs to be a priority!
Not enough parking!!
Quiet, great location. Residential/parks and beaches/ movie theatre, restaurants, unique shops, public transportation, Continental breakfast
Wet powdery area around fridge worrisome but looked after immediately.
Close to everything we needed. The rooms were big easy to move around in.
WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE for disabled persons. They should really make this clear. My boyfriend has a really hard time with stairs and we had a lot of luggage and ther was no elevator and all the main floor rooms were booked! When I asked for assistance I got attitude from the desk man and he said I would need to do an extra trip as he was to busy. There wasnt another soul in the hotel when we had arrived. we got an upgraded room, which had a kitchen. the toilet ran all night/day.
Great location, right on the tram line into town. Really nice breakfast.
Rooms quite dark, worn and small but, to be fair, looked like the pictures.
Location was excellent. We were able to leave the car in the parking lot and take the street car and train to Casa Loma, CN and shopping centers. Lots of restaurants in the area, movie theater across the street and a location beach and park nearby.
The bathroom was very cozy for four people but we made it work. The lighting in the room was too dark for my liking. Staff would be most friendly. I said,"Good Morning" to two staff members (not the front) cleaning and they did not response. They need to be more friendly to the guest.
nice place and very kind crow. good breakfast. free parking.
Some staff were friendly Beds comfortable Rooms big
Breakfast was terrible, worse than a youth hostel. Noisy at night from drunk people in the corridors (I could have just been unlucky though) Hotel is reasonably ugly and scruffy
very noisy air conditioner, clanging, etc. Had to turn it off to sleep.
I advised the staff at the front desk that the toilet was going off every 7 minutes, he stated he checked on it while we were at dinner and that nothing was wrong. The next day after listening to the toilet all night I advised a second person at the desk and he advised me the hotel was full and he would move us the next day.I don't understand why the first desk helper wouldn't call a plumber.
The gentleman that helped us when we arrived was so friendly and helpful...I cant say enough about him...sorry we didn't get his name, but he went out of his way to give us details about what to do and the TTC schedule and how to get to the Rogers Centre by TTC..he was on shift when we arrived Sat afternoon, around 4ish. He worked until 11 pm that night...
Didn't like that we had to park our vehicle behind the car wash located next to the hotel..it was too far for our liking..It is a brand new vehicle and was worried about it being so far away...
The beds were very comfortable, The price was right. The continental breakfast was ok.
Customer service was poor. The gentleman at the front desk was rude. When ever I needed something(toilet tissue, towels, bags, help) I had to physically walk to the front desk because when I called the front desk no one was ever there. The front desk clerk told me "he accidently gave away my room for the second night" and someone may try to enter my room... this scaring my youngest daughter thinking someone was going to enter our room. The room was never cleaned properly, not vacuumed or toiletries replenished.
abrupt manner of staff at desk
Location was perfect. Nice to include wifi, parking and breakfast.
Dirty. Our room had dust bunnies all over the desk and phone. Very cramped bathroom. Noisy with traffic at night and other guests making loud noises. Not accessible. We had a room on the 2nd floor and there were no elevators. We had to carry all our luggage plus a toddler up the stairs which was quite difficult.
The hotel was right in front of the streetcar line= easy access to downtown.
Parking was not guaranteed to the hotel guests as they did not have as many parking spots as rooms and the hotel also sells these same parking spots to the general public. Afraid to move my car once parked.
Location was fairly decent.
One front desk gentleman was professional and friendly. The other was rude and not helpful whatsoever.
some staff, continental breakfast, transit nearby
location, room amenities
Lack of facilities, no bar , garden , pool , gym
Close to my business trip. . Craft SHOW AT THE BEACHES
Rooms Are not sound proof. .1st night folks next room tv very loud
Liked the location and the breakfast option especially for my child
Odor.. The room was old and tired looking. The shower was dirty.
You're across the street from a great park system that connects to the Beaches. You're a five minute walk from the stores and restaurants of the Beaches.
Queen streetcar track is under repair and it took an hour to get downtown. Take the Coxwell bus to the subway instead.
