Staying there was okay. This is not real complaint. It was just I couldn't stand room with a little window and from the window very close toy could see other building wall. It was pretty claustrophobic there. But , front desk girl help me and gave me room with more light and windows.

the staff were very nice and helpful. several problems. room 312: smoke detector unhooked. no heat in 1 of the rooms. both beds creaked when sat on. cleaning not really done as i found previous guests phone charger still plugged in (had staff cleaned there, they would have found it). room right by the ice machine, very loud! i did change rooms and it was a bit better.

Location, location, location! Old hotel with small rooms. Takes a long time for the hot water to get up to the 8th floor, but the bathroom remodel was beautiful. Lovely beds.I'll definitely stay here again.

Location great. Free Wi Fi I'd recommend at $100/night. More than that there are normally better choices. Hotel is old, one slow small elevator. Rooms basic but comfortable. Overpriced but it's downtown Vancouver.

It was close to the conference center and had free internet access. Tiny room, poor air conditioning, poor shower, no fan in bathroom, my "view" was the side of a building a meter away.

I liked the location to the waterfront. I thought the rooms were overpriced for the size. Although very clean and a friendly efficient staff, there was absolutely no view and I felt as if I was in a box.......extremely small ...

This hotel is nicely situated in the downtown area, while still being priced at a reasonable rate. The hotel appeared fresh and clean inside. Room size was adequate, although our room would have been better if there was additional seating. If you only plan to use the room for sleeping, then size shouldn't be an issue. However, with multiple people (we had four) in the room, things could get crowded. The bathroom appeared fairly new and clean with a full bathtub and shower. The hotel offers a restaurant, in the lower level, where we had a good breakfast and good service. For those that need to leave their luggage after check- out, they offer to keep your bags in the lobby under watch by the staff and also tethered together by a steel cable and lock to prevent theft. Shuttle service was also provided from the airport to the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a good value and the fact that it is within walking distance to all the sites and tourists attractions makes this a worthwhile place to stay.

Convenience;- price (Vancouver is expensive). Friendliness of staff. Valet parking 20 dollars plus a day is a bit of a pain, but that's the way of the world these days. Basement restaurant has sludgy specials $6.95 per meal, but if you add orange juice and coffee;- bang;- you're paying $30 for breakfast. (We ended up going to a local cofee shop and paid about one third the price for the same thing)

The restaurant had breakfast foods that were very good and well prepared. The restaurant service was excellent. Old hotel; front desk never seemed to have aything that was advertised available like bottled water, etc. They would not cash travelers checks. Rooms were adequate but basic and not well stocked. Had to call for towels, wash clothes and coffee each night as they were not replaced during servicing of the room each morning. Housekeeping was sketchy

The location is great. The value is OK, considering the rates at other Vancouver hotels, which are really quite high. The hallways smell funky - like an old folks home (sorry to say). The maintenance of our room was substandard - a bit of wallpaper starting to release from the wall, and the molding around the base of the walls was off in a spot or two. The elevator often would not activate with our room key.

Your employees were exceptional, including front desk, bag service, and shuttle bus driver. Our stay was very comfortable and quiet. The rooms are warm and welcoming which I found matched the attitudes of your staff. I will make a point to stay at your Inn again. It was very reasonably priced with many services to accommodate. I will be sure to recommend your business to friends and family. Thank you for the extremely pleasant stay.
