Their was an unpleasant order int he hotel and my room
I chose this hotel because it was very close to the pier where we would join our cruise. Although very close, we could never have walked with our luggage to the pier. There were many levels and lots of steps.
All of the things that were promised in their publicity were included in the room--shower, refrigerator, queen bed, wifi, but in miniature. The room was very small, and the elevator to our floor would hold only four people--two with luggage.
Location to convention center was excellent.
This 100 year old property is in major need of upgrades. I had to move my room 3 times before settling for a much smaller room which did not have plumbing or electrical challenges. But I still had to put my key card in at least 6 times each time I tried to enter my room.
This was a good location for us as it was close to the cruise terminal. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The hallways were far too hot and stuffy.
I like the location, very comfortable ,friendlystaff and very accomodating.
Location . staff
AC very noysi , hard to get some sleep.
Location was perfect.
The air conditioner was very noisy.
Location was great close to train stations and cruise liner wharf. Staff were helpful when we requested a room change (due to very noisy ice machine on floor). Breakfast was convenient but cost.
Noisy airconditioning and ice machines. On our second stay the room was very small with no view at all - concrete wall
Centrally located. Very close to Cruise Terminal. You could walk everywhere. Tub and shower combo. There was a Days Inn umbrella in the room. Wish we had known that before we went out and bought one.
Dark in the room because of proximity of building next door. No light at all came into our room from outside even though we had a window. Room was small but comfortable.
It was in walking .distance of activities during the day. Have to take taxis at night. The maid service was excellent. The Booking price was much better than the local price...So, I guess that it was worth the extra money to stay downtown for a couple of nights.
The valet parking was not readily available... The garage should have been closer. The hallways were really hot.. the in room air was necessary and noisy. Some of the desk staff were not really completely knowledgeable about the places to eat late at night....and maybe they should be more knowledgeable about activities outside the downtown area..which are available to tourists. Maybe this hotel was for business travelers. .
Location was very close to the Waterfront. Public Transport was easily accessible. Breakfast in the Restaurant was very good.
Could not get a higher floor to stay.
Location was good for the cruise dock.
Constant noise outside room all night. Loose bathroom fixtures - towel bar. Shower faucet was loose & temperature of the water was difficult to control. The increase in hot water cause me to step back into the curtain. It was poorly attached (masking tape on the screws) so the whole bar fell on me, causing me to sit down hard & fall backwards on to the floor. Fortunately I was not hurt badly.
Wonderful staff Perfect location to major tourist areas and a train station to airport. Wifi and refrigerator in room
Noise---my room was besids stairway, so I could hear othe guests going up and down and slamming door. My room--the room was dark, no daylight. Only a small window, so no view. Feel like you are staying in basement.
Very noisy air conditioning also filling drinks machine at 6 30 am outside our room making a great noise. Impossibkple to sleep.
Location was great, the beds were comfortable and there was a fridge
Parking is blocks away, hotel was like a sauna....the window coverings were too small and it was impossible to keep the bright lights from shinning in all night. Again not worth the 200.00 Lu's per night
Loved the location, the professionalism of the staff, and their many kindnesses. We were there for two days prior to our boarding the Princess cruise liner. Your convenient and quality accommodations made our short stay that much more enjoyable. The restaurant in your lower level was an added bonus. Good food too! We will highly recommend this particular location to our friends who are planning a trip in the northwest. Thank you!
Location and Staff. Good coffee blend and brewer.
Minor dislike for toilet facilities.
The location is excellent for downtown Vancouver. Although the hotel is old it is maintained. Room was well appointed with good furniture and electronics.
The room was normally hot, unless the air conditioner was turned on. Washroom was a bit small.
Great location, clean and quiet
No working vending machines on any floor
Location and price
Room dark and closed in
Location was great, easy access to sky train and cruise boat. We stayed at this motel two times either side of a cruise. The staff held our baggage - thanks. They were very helpful and breakfast downstairs was also both convenient and nice
Noisy airconditioning and pop machines. The staff moved us to a quieter room for our first stay and we chose not to use the room air conditioner the next stay. The coffee machine needing a renewal as our hot water tasted like coffee.
Proximity to local attractions. Friendly staff:)
The bed was very uncomfortable, the room was stuffy and the air conditioner was very LOUD!!
The location was amazing. It was so easy to get around downtown Vancouver.
Good rooms with excellent amenities.
Didn't like the parking
Clean rooms and good breakfast
room over priced for size
