Location was great close to train stations and cruise liner wharf. Staff were helpful when we requested a room change (due to very noisy ice machine on floor). Breakfast was convenient but cost.
Noisy airconditioning and ice machines. On our second stay the room was very small with no view at all - concrete wall
Centrally located. Very close to Cruise Terminal. You could walk everywhere. Tub and shower combo. There was a Days Inn umbrella in the room. Wish we had known that before we went out and bought one.
Dark in the room because of proximity of building next door. No light at all came into our room from outside even though we had a window. Room was small but comfortable.
It was in walking .distance of activities during the day. Have to take taxis at night. The maid service was excellent. The Booking price was much better than the local price...So, I guess that it was worth the extra money to stay downtown for a couple of nights.
The valet parking was not readily available... The garage should have been closer. The hallways were really hot.. the in room air was necessary and noisy. Some of the desk staff were not really completely knowledgeable about the places to eat late at night....and maybe they should be more knowledgeable about activities outside the downtown area..which are available to tourists. Maybe this hotel was for business travelers. .
Wonderful staff Perfect location to major tourist areas and a train station to airport. Wifi and refrigerator in room
Noise---my room was besids stairway, so I could hear othe guests going up and down and slamming door. My room--the room was dark, no daylight. Only a small window, so no view. Feel like you are staying in basement.
Very noisy air conditioning also filling drinks machine at 6 30 am outside our room making a great noise. Impossibkple to sleep.
Location was great, the beds were comfortable and there was a fridge
Parking is blocks away, hotel was like a sauna....the window coverings were too small and it was impossible to keep the bright lights from shinning in all night. Again not worth the 200.00 Lu's per night
Loved the location, the professionalism of the staff, and their many kindnesses. We were there for two days prior to our boarding the Princess cruise liner. Your convenient and quality accommodations made our short stay that much more enjoyable. The restaurant in your lower level was an added bonus. Good food too! We will highly recommend this particular location to our friends who are planning a trip in the northwest. Thank you!
The location is excellent for downtown Vancouver. Although the hotel is old it is maintained. Room was well appointed with good furniture and electronics.
The room was normally hot, unless the air conditioner was turned on. Washroom was a bit small.
Location was great, easy access to sky train and cruise boat. We stayed at this motel two times either side of a cruise. The staff held our baggage - thanks. They were very helpful and breakfast downstairs was also both convenient and nice
Noisy airconditioning and pop machines. The staff moved us to a quieter room for our first stay and we chose not to use the room air conditioner the next stay. The coffee machine needing a renewal as our hot water tasted like coffee.
Proximity to local attractions. Friendly staff:)
The bed was very uncomfortable, the room was stuffy and the air conditioner was very LOUD!!
The location was amazing. It was so easy to get around downtown Vancouver.
Good rooms with excellent amenities.
Didn't like the parking
Easy to get to places around Vancouver- nicely central. All staff friendly and helpful (especially Inna ). Free wi-fi, able to print our flight boarding passes in computer room. Iron and board very helpful after a lot of travelling, also could to do laundry if necessary.
We were originally given a room with a small outside window which looked straight to a concrete wall a few feet away, so no daylight. However, we asked if it was at all possible to change to another room and were immediately offered a room with daylight.
Location , wi fi, and laundry onsite.
The location was close to the facilities where I was training. I did not find any bed bugs (I checked). The WIFI was reliable and reasonably quick. The staff was polite and friendly. Ask for a pass to the YWCA, you can work out or swim and it's free (but you have to ask at the front desk, no one volunteers this info). The YWCA will provide you with a towel and a padlock for a locker. You will need to leave a piece of ID in exchange for the lock.
There is no view to speak of. The rooms feel a bit small. The shower alternated from hot to cold, it might be better to shower in the evening. I did not enjoy the breakfast at the restaurant, whatever oil they used to fry the eggs tasted off. Parking is off site at The Hotel at Terminal City Club (now called Auberge). You have to access through the Hotel lobby after hours and on stats. Getting out of the parkade on a stat or the weekend on foot is a real pain as you need an Auberge key card to use any elevator. The non hotel elevators were shut off. I had to walk all the way up and out the car exit lane.
Location and quiet.
Location Customer service
The restaurant Cleanliness Value Rooms Wouldn't recommend. Would stay at other hotels instead.
Location & Wifi
Parking was inconvenient and pricey. Expensive for the quality. The room was outdated. Carpets very dirty and old. The lights in the room sometimes didn't turn on. Could hear every conversation in the hallway clearly from the room.
Only the location
I had to walk to blocks to the parking each time and I also had to pay $15 a day, the smell is really bad, the room was too small.
Beds were decent.
Bathrooms had no counters and very basic, more like a 1 star or 2 star bathroom. Elevator so slow.
Proximity to everything
Friendly staff and very accomodating being able to extend our check out untill 1pm. Clean hotel room. Great location.
Parking a couple of blocks away is a bit much for two young ladies arriving at night. The AC was not working and it seemed the heat was cranked going up floor to floor.
Room cleaning Staff unkindness
Location, staff responses to any issue raised.
Initial room a/c was a problem, but staff response was great!
